Dear Members,

Its been a long time since I've visited this group. Things

unfortunately hasnt changed much in a better way for me.

Anyways what I wanted to know was abt KAL SARP. Now there has been a

lot of discussion before, but I got interested because of lots of

things written abt it in the news papers and abt Sachin Tendulkar.

He went to a temple in the south and performed a pooja, and the

priest of the temple gave an interview on Sarp Dosha and something

even worse called Kal Sarp.

What views do the memebers have on this? I also have performed a

pooja for this, but not in temple in the south.

Any views;

Regards,

Kunal

Dear friend,

Rahu is Kala.

Kala means = result of our own actions which come before us as

obstacle, and time

Ketu is Sarpa = the headless or brainless one = having no thinking

capability.

Pure Kala Sarpa Yoga occurs

when

---------------

counting from Rahu - anti- zodiacally to Ketu

ALL THE 7 PLANETS COME BETWEEN RAHU AND KETU.

---------------

If there is a planet out this, this planet is called the Kala Sarpa

Yoga breaker or the savier or the helping planet for that horoscope.

The planet which comes immediately after Rahu- antizodiacally

suffers the most- its natural as well as functional significations.

For example if it is Venus the 3rd lord= there will be difficulty in

married life, accumulating money, health problem like cough/asthma etc.

-

Remedial measure- strengthening this planet (say Venus) will be helpful.

PACIFICATION OF RAHU/KETU OR 'SHANTI'- recitation of Maha Mantra

Worship of Lord Varaha/ Mastya Avatara of Lord Vishnu.

--

as well as strengtheing of Moon/Sun if they are favourable for the chart.

With best wishes,

M.Tripathy

Dear Tripathyji:

This is quite enlightening. You said -

"If there is a planet out this, this planet is called the Kala Sarpa

Yoga breaker or the savier or the helping planet for that horoscope."

Does this mean, all other planets (except the yoga breaker) that are between

Rahu and Ketu (in the manner explained by you for Kala Sarpa Yoga to occur),

will still be under the influence of Rahu and Ketu and cannot have their full

strength ...in their natural as well as functional significations ?

Or is it that, if the Kala Sarpa yoga is broken by one planet, the rest of the

planets (even as they are between Rahu and Ketu antizodially) are also relieved

of the influence of Rahu and Ketu as related to this yoga..?

Kindly clarify and throw more light on these for better understanding.

Best Regards

Mallikarjun

dear shri tripathyji

I want a clarification. If in a horoscope if lagna is

outside the rahu-ketu axis does the horoscope of the

person is classified as kaala sarpa yoga. for eg in an

individual's horoscope if lagna is Kumbha and all

other planets are placed between ketu (in pisces) and

rahu (in virgo).

regards,

k.gopu
