Guest guest
Dear Mr Narasimha I am referring to Moses' posting only for convenience, & have no intention of discussing it. But I have been similarly very distressed by my lack of understanding the a) heirarchy of factors in astro-units, & b) cleaving the difference between strength & disposition factors (eg waning Moon is weak or malefic or both), as is apparent from my various postings. Part of the reason is my learning style of writing notes for a few years in a subject, before applying it. I hope to continue the same till I finish reading your VAIP, & then start reading charts. But part of the reason is that no book actually does this. Your book is the only one which clearly defines without ambiguity & at least cleaves the difference between various realted astro-units. Which is a great first step for us, which no book really does. But the 2nd step is really woefully uncovered in astro-literature, & a nightmare for students. ONE of the ways, is to take a sample chart & do the exercise. I know I promised I would do this pre-analysis for your comments. However, with my current nappy-changing duties (& wife with fever), & the fact that I want to finish reading VAIP first, & that I am on leave from office where I use the computer, for this week also, & my limited knowledge of astrology, it will take me a very long time. I was wondering if you or anyone else astro-competent in this List who knows your birth co-ordinates, could do this: a) take your chart (so that you could interpret best, all the subliminal influences, later), b) take any issue/ domain (for simplicity & focus), c) take ONLY 1 chart (whether rasi or any d-chart), for same reason as above, d) ignore time-manifestation factors (dasas & transits): for same reason as above, then list ALL the factors relevant for that issue (incl strength & disposition for each influencing factor). Let the factors include all that you have taught, whether avasthas, or 2 types of aspects or argalas, or sign & nakshatra dispositors, or whatever (evrything relevant to judging), & then await your comments on a) how & why some factors dominate over others for the chosen issue, b) how are the over-ridden factors manifest at all in your life I genuinely feel this is an exercise which would benefit a lot of people in this List, & wish I was physically able to initiate this exercise Regards Nandan
