Guest guest
>BTW female life epectancy these days is generally higher than male. Unless >it is different in India? > >Nimmi The very basis for this fact is that nowadays especially in Western society, people are not taught to observe brahmacarya, celibacy till the age the human body is fully grown up and gains the necessary strength to reproduce male children. As during the teenage years alreasy so much sex activity is going on and a great part of semen is lost uselessly, the body (and mind) does not get nurtured as it should be and as a result it becomes too weak. When the body is weak, as well as the semen, the chance for producing female children becomes much more likely. Thus persons with strong indications in their chart towards excessive indulgence in sex life will generally produce more female children than male. Guest guest
Dear Dhira Krishna Das, I certainly agree with you that celibacy should be practiced until marriage, but wouldn't the sex of one's children be fixed at birth and read from one's horoscope regardless of one's teenage sexual activity? Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. Best regards, Karen The very basis for this fact is that nowadays especially in Western society, people are not taught to observe brahmacarya, celibacy till the age thehuman body is fully grown up and gains the necessary strength to reproducemale children. Guest guest
Actually, if you look at actuarial mortality rates, there is a downward trend for both male and female until their teens, and then the male rate goes up and does not come down until mid to late 20s. The reason is aggresion, risk taking, fast cars, high adrenaline activity etc, and not excessive sexual indulgence. It is a somewhat strange aspect of life that aggression and violence are looked upon quite favourably (martial arts, sports etc) whereas sexual indulgence is feared and condemned. I wonder whether it is because to some extent the act of sex simulates the process of death. Whatever the reason, the mortality rates are not really due to excessive sex activity, but to excessive aggression and violence. These days as women take to the same life patterns, their mortality rates are changing towards the male pattern. The only reason I know this is that I worked for about 3 years as an actuarial assistant doing valuations for pension funds. The death in service benefit rates used the death rates to calculate the value of these benefits, and the age based rates we used showed this pattern. As the rates were constantly adjusted in line with experience, these were not theoretical but actual rates being experienced in the population. I think we are getting a bit too hung up on this sex thing.... - "Dhira Krsna (das) BCS (Radhadesh - B)" <Dhira.Krsna.BCS <vedic astrology> Saturday, June 23, 2001 4:03 PM [vedic astrology] Strijataka > > >BTW female life epectancy these days is generally higher than male.
