By mistake, I just sent another e-mail on the same issue Ref Career

Tendulkar. It was an incomplete draft email which pl ignore, as I pressed

Send instead of Delete on an unfinished draft. The proper e-mail is this:

U need to look mainly at item 3 in the following generic answer-categories

to your questions :

 

1. Minuter precisions of the zodiac: so that SOMETHING will differ: akin to

clutching at astro-straws for answers.

2. DKP: that astrology is Native-centric & astro-stimuli charted across

time manifest uniquely in different contexts. Finding DKP from the chart is

a different issue altogether from understanding the manifestations from

the DKP. Native-centricism will only show up those aspects of DKP from the

chart, which acutely affect the person, not what a "normal" astrologer

needs to know to put the person's co-ords in the overall scheme of the

world populace.

3. Free-will within bounded fate (probabilistic vs deterministic): a)

limited free-will in sum-total fated boundaries (in 1/ various life-times

of a person), b) accumulation of karma AFTER birth (Prasna charts are

supposed to address that), c) all free-wills & DKPs of all who associate

with us, affecting our free-will degrees of freedom, d) E Cayce's pushing

the free-will funda to before birth, ie soul choosing the correct parentage

for its this evolutionary need, Essential rationalisation: that astrology

is the study of astro-stimuli across time, to enable us to capitalise/

beware & exercise our limited free-will

4. Limited consciousness/ perception: ("in this Kali Yug", as

well-cliched): a) Complete fate, as is impossible to transcend free-will

boundaries in our current Kali Yug of limited consciousness: Mentally

unpalatable & hence unacceptable to most. Variations: Is 1/ all astrologers

fated to read your chart properly? Is it fated for all of us to receive

answers to the questions u ask

5. "Complexity" of astro-knowledge: Same as: "we dont know". This category

actually mainly answers another question: "why cant we predict anything in

advance" unless we know the answer & work it out retrospectively, which is

another way of asking "why cant we predict mass catastrophes". Because once

a narrow domain is chosen, the correct techniques can be used to analyse

(various charts & dasas, etc). Else, it is humanly impossible to predict.

Which is why most astro-authors seem like movie-directors in a Hindi movie,

where everybody knows the answer (what will happen next) but the variations

are infinite & entertaining. That is, if u know the answer, well SOME form

of planetary association will "hit" (ie "bad engineer" will have an

afflicted Ma in SOME FORM of assocn to the required domain (10 in d-10 or

whatever) or its lord: occupation, sign dispositor, nakshatra dispositor,

aspects of 2 types, argalas, relative house placement to it (eg dusthan to

it), conjunction, parivartan, hemming, ad infinitum, ....... .Conditional

probability here we go. Something has to hit.

 

Dear Mr M Iyer: you will keep finding variations & subsets of the above, if

u keep asking the same qn. And u will have to choose 1 of the above reasons

for yourself, to keep yourself motivated to choose 1 path of learning

astrology vs other infinite path-possibilities. Most of us have given up on

the answer u seek long ago, or chosen 1 which is temporarily palatable.
