Guest guest
Dear Karen, Pranam. >I certainly agree with you that celibacy should be practiced until >marriage, but wouldn't the sex of one's children be fixed at birth and >read from one's horoscope regardless of one's teenage sexual activity? Well, we have read that so many factors depend on other's charts whom we associate with, and activities we do in our lives can affect the results there are indicated in our charts. To give an example, there may be indications in a female horoscope to get 10 children, but if she marries a person who is impotent, than she may not have any children at all. >From what I have learned from the Vedic scriptures, it is so that if semen is spoiled too much during young age, it becomes less powerful at the time of conception to beget a male child, and usually female children will be begotten. That's why brahmacarya (celibacy) is advised in the scriptures, till the adulthood is reached. Your sishya, Dhira Krsna dasa
Guest guest
AUM SRI GURUVE NAMAH Dear Dhira Krsna dasa! Here are some points to consider... > Dear Karen,> > Pranam.> > >I certainly agree with you that celibacy should be practiced until> >marriage, but wouldn't the sex of one's children be fixed at birth and> >read from one's horoscope regardless of one's teenage sexual activity?> > Well, we have read that so many factors depend on other's charts whom we> associate with, and activities we do in our lives can affect the results> there are indicated in our charts. Sarajit: Just think the same women who comes to you with her horoscope to you and you see that there are indications of 10 children and there are no issues to her. What would you conclude then. If the indications in the chart doesn't happen, what is the point in deciphering the horoscope. Did you see any horoscope which has excellent 5th house and strong putrakaraka, there is no issue to that native. No, it is not possible...... This is a common saying that the marriage, deaths and evets like that are fixed in heaven. The marriage which one undergo and the person who becomes the spouse is not a mere accident, but that is predestined. Under circumastances you mentioned, it would so happen that the woman who has indications of 10 children will marry a man who can beget 10 children. The indications in an horoscope cannot go so wary otherwise the jyotish will lose consistency and there wouldn't be any point in interpreting charts as would never be sure, whats going to happen. > >From what I have learned from the Vedic scriptures, it is so that if semen> is spoiled too much during young age, it becomes less powerful at the time> of conception to beget a male child, and usually female children will be> begotten. That's why brahmacarya (celibacy) is advised in the scriptures,> till the adulthood is reached.> In scriptures, brahmacharya is not only advised till the adulthood is reached but through out the life. Brahmacharya in true sense is detachment from pleasure seeking attitude. There is no concept of pleasure in Hindu Phylosophy, whatever there is only duties and obligations. Sex is allowed only to meet one such obligation, i.e., to take forward your own Vamsa. Moreovee, sex is not allowed before adulthood also because thats the time when we make ourselves fit to meet next obligations (Grahatya ashrama), and this is the time for tapasya or penance. No medical literature will support your arguement that excessive sex would lead to female children. Even if that is true, then the persons involved in excessive sex will be married to the women whose horoscope shows female children through divine provedence. These are my humble thoughts. You may reject them if you wish to. Pranaam Sarajit > Your sishya,> Dhira Krsna dasa
