I am new to this group, but I have been following it for a while. I

am interested in Vedic astrology, and just begining to learn.

 

This question is regarding my personal problem. I lost a good deal of

money in a real estate fraud during June-July '99. Since then I am

trying to recover it.

 

My question is whether will I be having problems with real estate

through out my life?

 

I have a debiliated moon in 4th house, whose depositor mars is also

debiliated in 12th. Is this the reason?

First let me note that you were running the Vimshottari Dasa(365 days) of Merc-Jup-Rahu(7/5-8/9).

posited, this could well help to the event.

 

Here are my thoughts on your chart.

regarding home, such as problems containing water, and flooding of basements,

etc.

 

The 4th is aspected by Debilitated Saturn(foundation instability), and the

combination of planets in cancer.

 

4th lord is in Cancer, joined with Gulika, Mandi, Sun, Venus & Mercury.

The joining of Mandi and Gulika in this house, causes deceptions/fraud, leading

to loss of the fortunes derived from the 4th house. As 2nd lord is in this

house as well, the deceptions may involve money. Looking to the 2nd house, we

see a Kemadruma Yoga spanning from 2nd to 8th, hence the fraud may cause a very

large loss. Luckily Jupiter is in Lagna, to help you rid yourself of the same

loss, with time.

 

A4 is in the 8th house, joining the Kemadruma Yoga. This confirms that the

obtaining of a house, is the problem underfocus.. Your Marriage may also have

A Very important Note to consider was that you were running the Vimshottari Dasa

of; Merc-Jup-Rahu. Jup-Rahu combinations indicate disgarding the advice of

others.

 

In Navamsa we can see that Jupiter is in Lagna whislt Rahu is in 5th, indicating

that you may have disgarded the advice of others. As Sun is joined with Rahu,

you also suffered from this.

 

The advisors are seen from the houses lorded by Jupiter or the grahas in Navamsa Lagna.

 

The Grahas in Navamsa lagna, shows those that have a strong influence in ones life.

The Chathurthamsa shows immovable property. Cars, Boats, Mother and other such

4th house indications do not come under this Varga, allthough many confuse this

with the same.

 

The Lagna has debilitated Moon(Badhakesh), as its lord is debilitated, in the

9th in Cancer(Badhak Sthana). This shows spontaneous acts, and ill guidance in

matters pertaining to the varga.

 

The 4th house is Aqua and is occupied with Jupiter, who loves philosophising in Aqua.

Lord of Aqua; Saturn is debilitated in the 6th with 7th lord Venus and joined

with Mandi; Showing that you'll be decieved by people who you initially thought

were your partners(7th), was the realestate agent a woman?

 

Mars who lords the 6th gives Graha and Rasi Dristi on the 4th house, indicating

that you did indeed endure into this venture too quickly, and without much

thought.

 

 

In the future listening to the advice given by others would be a must in such matters.

Worship Jupiter using the Mantra; "Aum Gurave Namah".

As Saturn is debilitated in the 9th of both Rasi and Navamsa, you can be

somewhat strongheaded at times, and hence you should listen more and act later.

Dear Visti,

Thank you much for your response. I would to clarify certain

things. The real estate involved is a land deal and people involved

are all men. Yes, the decision to buy is somewhat fast (as my leave

is getting over and anxious to close a deal) but we did our checking

prior to buying. I involved my siblings and relatives who are much

familiar with real estate before getting into. They are shocked as I

am.

Visti has already given you detailed feedback on this.

 

But just as an aside, if you use 360 days per year, you run the dasa of

mercury/ saturn in mid 1999.

 

Now mercury is in the 12th house and rules the 2nd and 11th, showing

financial losses anyway. And saturn is debilitated in rasi and navamsa. In

1999, saturn was transitting in aries, and therefore debilitated again. This

would provide the confluence of influences to create losses of some sort.

 

As saturn is ruler of the 4th from moon, perhaps this involved property. But

it also rules 6th and 7th and aspects the 11th house of profit from

investment. So partners can be deceptive and in fact be working against your

interests.

 

Mars' debilitation and placement in the 12th also creates problems through

land deals, as mars stands for land. With the watery signs involved and the

moon, was any of this related to water issues? 9th house is again involved,

where saturn sits.

 

Saturn and mars are both debilitated and aspect the 3rd house (which is also

the 4th from the sun) so 4th house from asc, sun, moon and AL are all rather

badly placed.

 

Moon, mars and saturn are all three again debilitated in D-4 which is very

unusual. It is almost as if the weakness in the rasi chart when echoed in

the divisional chart can show the areas where the problems can manifest. It

also means that the saturn was in transit over the position in the D-4 chart

and this may explain things even more.

 

If the losses were during saturn's subperiod, my feeling is that there is no

remedy. Things that happen under saturn leave a permanent mark.

 

But your chart indicates that partners and associates will let you down. But

the aspect of vargottama jupiter on this saturn I think indicates that they

will not escape scott free either, and that justice will somehow be done.

And as it is conjunct your ascendant, I suspect your actions will trigger

this.

 

And the one thing that stands for you in the chart is the conjunction of

jupiter with the vargottama ascendant. This will probably also bring

personal danger and a liking for taking risks as jupiter rules the 8th. But

given this one single good strength in the chart and given the vargottama

ascendant, I would think that anything you wish to succeed must be given

your personal and undivided attention with no outside help. I cannot see but

that associates will not help you achieve your goals.

 

If we take rasi drishti, this saturn aspects the 4th house as well, both

natally and by transit.

 

Did the fraud involve the people you had trusted as partners by any chance?

Dear Nimmi,

Thanks for your reply. I don't recollect the land in question is

anything to do with water. People and brokers from whom I bought the

land, weren't my partners.

How do we find from a chart whether a person can recover a loss

and when? In my case, you do see whether I will be able to recover

this loss?

Mars in my chart, does it have neecha bhanga? What are its

characteristics and effects?
