Guest guest
Hello everyone, Very interesting and educational list. Thanks to those who spend their time in running it and answering questions. I have three questions related to child birth. A friend of mine is pregnant and the birth is already overdue. She is already under pressure from Doctors to have the birth induced. Naturally she does not want to do this, for one thing she is concerned it might give the child the wrong birth chart. She was born 16th Sept 1964 at 1:31pm in Sidney Australia. She believes she conceived either on the 15th or 16th Dec 2000 at about 10:35pm. The two questions are: 1. If a pregnancy is induced can this give the soul a birth chart that was never intended, and so confuse the purpose of the incarnation, or is it believed that an induced birth was part of the plan? 2. Is it possible to use Vedic astrology to predict the most likely birth time of the child from the mothers birth data, and if it is when would the birth take place in this case? Thanks in advance for any help best wishes to you all Zach
Guest guest
Dear Zach. The time of birth is to be considered as the time when the baby separates from the Mother, hence when the umbelical cord has been cut. The soul can have entered the body much before the birth, yet the focus is on the souls engagement into this world.. like the chart for begining a new job, the Soul has a chart for begining a new life. Best wishes, Visti. --- Zach <zach wrote: > > Hello everyone, > Very interesting and educational list. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Zach, Namaste. > > Hello everyone, > Very interesting and educational list. But you should also consider the fact that the circumstances of the birth will be indicated in the actual birth chart, so there's no way to rectify such a chart to a mopre natural timing that the actual one is. So the real birth time (cutting of the umbilical chord) should be taken for prediction. It is good to propitiate Moon in sich charts. > 2. Is it possible to use Vedic astrology to predict the most likely > birth time of the child from the mothers birth data, and if it is > when would the birth take place in this case? I know only about the method of Jaimini, based oin the conception chart. For natal Moon's position take the Dwadasamsa positon of the \moon in the conception chart. Note the sign, and see how many Dwadasamsas did the Moon pass in her Rasi. Count forwards from the Dwadasamsa sign and you will get the Janma Rasi of the child. Moon may also be in trines to this. I will call chart with Dec 15 as Conception 1 and with 16 as Conception 2. In Conception 1, Moon is in Taurus Dwadasamsa, which is the 11th from the beginning of Cancer, so birth Moon should be in Pisces or trines to it. According to Conception 2, Moon is in Sagittarius Dwadasamsa, which is the 5th in Leo Rasi, so birth Moon should be in Aries otr trines. Natal Sun is determined as follows: Determine the stronger between the 6th houses from the Lagna and 7th. Add the longitude of the stronger house to the Lagna (or 7th) and you get the Sodhya Rasi. The natal Sun will be in a sign of same oddity, or the sign of exaltation/debilitation of the lord of the Sodhya Rasi, whichever is stronger in the conception chart. Now in Conception 1 the stronger between Gemini and Sagittarius is Gemini acc. to my views, as its lord has advanced more degrees. 7th house cusp is at 9 signs 28 deg 33 and Mercury is at 7 signs 24 deg 16. This added will be 17 signs 22 deg 49, i.e. Virgo. So most luikely transit Sun should be in Virgo. In Conception 2 Sagittarius is stronger, so we should add up Lagna degrees and 6th lord degrees. 3 signs 29 deg 53 for Lagna and 1 sign 9 deg 52 for Jupiter. This is 5 signs 9 deg 45, which is again Virgo. The time of birth is determined thus: Conception Lagna in both cases is in Cancer, which is a night sign, so birth is possible during the day. It is at 28 or 29 degrees Cancer in the two charts, both indicating that birth will be close to sunset, i.e. around the last 1/30th part of the day. Now to the date: With both charts we had Sun in Virgo, into which the Sun enters on Sept. 17, and with Conception 2, we had Moon in fiery signs. So this date is acceptable aslo, as Moon is in Leo. S4nset 5s at 17.47, so borth of the child is most possible between 17 pm and sunset. Mercury and Venus are in even signs in the conception chart, so a girl is more likely. Please verufy me on these if I have guessed properly.
