Guest guest
dear jay the questuion of travelling from one country to another depends on the following factors a) the factors which i had already mentioned b) the other important factor is d-60 chart, here if the person is born in the brahmanamsa sorry if the spelling is wrong. what the subdivision implies is that the pnative will constantly be travelling. c) also Maha dasa changes , major antara and paryantaradas changes make the native to travel. d) the position of moon in 10th also makes the native to shift from one place to another palce. thanks V.Partha sarathy --- JW <jayhw wrote: > Based on many charts that I have for such > individuals and out of my own personal experience I > agree with you. > > However when it comes to emigration you'll find most > people go through it once. > My question: how does one recognize a multiple > emigration i.e. where a person is moving to one > country, living and working there for let's say > 10-15 years and then moves to a third country for > 10-15 years and maybe even to a forth one (never > back to it's place of birth) ? > > Kind regards > > Jay Weiss > > > > > - > <partvinu5 > <vedic astrology> > Thursday, September 20, 2001 1:33 PM > [vedic astrology] Travel and settlement in > foreign lands > > > > In my humble opinion, the main factors which are > considered to be > > important for foreign travel and settlement are as > follows > > > > a) 9th lord , his placement in chara rasis > > b) placement of rahu in 12th house and chara > rasis. > > c) placement of 7th lord of distant travels in > chara rasis and > > especially in bhagya and labaha sthanas. > > d) placement of 4th lord in 12th , 12th lord in > 12th is a good > > indicator for foreign travel. > > e) the role of 8th house should also be considered > as it is a hidden > > house nad also 12th form 9th house of foreign > travel. > > > > > > comments and controversies are acceptable and can > be sent to > > Partvinu5 > > > > > > > > Archives: > vedic astrology > > > > Group info: > vedic astrology/info.html > > > > To UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to > vedic astrology- > > > > ....... Guest guest
dear venkat sir Let me clear your confusion. Though moon is the 9th lord from chandra lagna. you had not mentioned other important factors which i had spelt out clearly for foreign travel. what is the dasa running. I beg What are the positions of lagnadhipati, rajyadhipati, vyayadhipati from lagna. so many questions have to be answered before we can come to a firm conclusion. Moon in 10th alone does not imply foreign travel. that too scorpio is a sthira rasi. Guest guest
Dear Jay and Partha, Any planet in a moveable sign in the 10th should give travel. Planets here give argala to the 9th and 12th houses of travel. Parasar designates this house as showing foreign residence as well. The Navamsa chakra must also be scrutinized carefully. I have in my possession the charts of twins with the same rasi chart. The navamsa ascendant is different. The dasa of Rahu has just finished. In one chart Rahu sits in the 7th house, and in the other Rahu is in the 8th. The person with Rahu in the 7th has made about 60 business trips all over the world in the past 4 years, as well as taking about 25 trips for pleasure across the world, and routinely travelling to neibouring cities for weekend enjoyment. The other with Rahu in the 8th navamsa travels, but the frequency is far far less, perhaps once every 3 months. Note that in both Rasi charts Rahu is in the 9th house, yet if also in a travel house in navamsa, the travelling is experienced exponentially. I have found that I have made incorrect judgements when I have just looked at the rasi chart. For example in my own chart I have been running Sun in the 10th in fixed sign Taurus dasa for 4 years now. During this dasa, I have travelled extensively, twice to Central America, to Europe, again to Europe to work in France for half a year, moved to Quebec for a year, and numerous trips all over the United States. In navamsa Sun is in the 9th house in moveable Capricorn. regards, Alex J Rasi of twins +----------------------+ | | | | Ket | | | Mar | | | | BL | | Moo | SatR | | | Asc | | | | | | | GL | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | | | | | HL | | | | | | | | | |-------------| R A S I |-------------| | | | | | Ven Jup | | | | | | | | Glk Mnd | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | Mer | | | | Rah | | | | | | Sun | | | | | | | | +----------------------+ Travelling twin's navamsa Date of Birth: December 9, 1973 Time of Birth: 2:46:00 pm Time Zone of Birth: 5:00 West of GMT Longitude of Birth: 74 W 04 Latitude of Birth: 40 N 43 +----------------------+ | | | | | | | | Rah | GL | | Ven | Mar | | | | | | Jup | Glk | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | | | Sun | | Moo | | | | | | | | | |-------------| N A V A M S A |-------------| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | Asc | | | | SatR | | | Mer | | | Ket | | | | BL | | | Mnd | | | HL | | | +----------------------+ Less travelled twin' navamsa Date of Birth: December 9, 1973 Time of Birth: 2:39:00 pm Time Zone of Birth: 5:00 West of GMT Longitude of Birth: 74 W 04 Latitude of Birth: 40 N 43 +----------------------+ | | | | | | | | Rah | | | Ven | Mar | | | | | | Jup | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | GL | | Glk | | | | | | Sun | | Moo | | | | | |-------------| N A V A M S A |-------------| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | Mnd | | | | | | | HL | | SatR | Ket | Asc | | | | | | Mer | | | BL | | | +----------------------+
Guest guest
Hi Jay, Partha & Alex, When considering travel, the key divisional chart is the ChaturthAmsa (D-4)and not Navamsa(D-9), in *my* opinion. Apart from D-4, Nodes and 7, 9 & 12 houses, one also has to consider Jalapathana & Paradesa Sahams!!! Notice these Sahams for the twins are in different signs in D-1 & D-4 although the D-4 is similar. For the Elder(Less Traveled) Twin: Jalapathana Saham: 04Ar39, falls in Ar in D-4(4H) Paradesa Saham: 01Cn39, falls in Cn in D-4(7H) For the Younger(More Traveled) Twin: -- Jalapathana Saham: 29Ge15, falls in Pi in D-4(3H) Paradesa Saham: 29Pi51, falls in Sg in D-4(12H) Both of them ran Rahu Dasa from 82 approx and started Ju from 2000. For the Younger Twin Rh is conjunct Paradesa Saham!!!! For the Elder Twin Ju is conjunct Paradesa Saham!!! So we might see him travelling more in Ju's dasa. Note: Ju is also the lord of both the sahams in Younger twin. So travel seems logical. Guest guest
Hi Narayan, I didn't mention the D-4, as the ascendant is the same in that chart. In both Rahu is in the 12th giving both of them foreign travel. The difference between the two shows in the D-9, that is why I mentioned this. But I didn't consider the sahams in the D-4 or otherwise! I should study these. Thanks for the tips, I was wondering about the apparent lack of difference in the D-4. *My* opinion is that all of the D-1, D-9, and D-4 should be looked at, as the classics do mention many combinations in the D-1, and D-9 as causing foreign travel as well. For example my D-9 indicates the most foreign travel, during Sun dasa. I don't see it so much in my D-1 or D-4. In general I find that the D-4 with 6 planets in moveable signs aspecting the 9th and 12th, but Sun is in a fixed sign Taurus in the 10th. But then again I haven't looked at the sahams! During Sun dasa I have probably made about 40 trips. I have moved cities 5 times, including once to another continent in Sun-Jupiter. I have lived abroad and travelled much more during Sun dasa than in Venus dasa. Despite Venus being in a moveable sign, aspecting the 12th house, 7th, 4th and 9th lords in D-4 with dispositor in the 12th. regards, Alex J Date of Birth: May 16, 1976 Time of Birth: 1:04:00 pm Time Zone of Birth: 4:00 West of GMT Longitude of Birth: 79 W 34 Latitude of Birth: 43 N 39 +----------------------+ | | Ket | | | | | | Sun | | | | Jup | | | | | | MerR | | | | Ven | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | Sat Mar | | | | | | | | Glk Mnd | | | | | |-------------| R A S I |-------------| | | | | | | | Asc | | | | | | | | BL | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | HL | | Rah | | | | | | | | Moo | | GL | | | | | | | +----------------------+ +----------------------+ | MerR | | | | | | | Asc | | | Mnd | | | GL | | | | HL | | | Rah | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | | | | | Moo | | | | | | | | | |-------------| N A V A M S A |-------------| | | | | | | | Sat | | Sun | | | | | | Mar | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | Ket | | | | | | | Glk | Ven | | Jup | | | | | | | | | | BL | +----------------------+ +----------------------+ | | | | | | | Mnd | | | | Moo | | Sun | | | | Rah | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | Sat | | | | | | BL | | Mar | | | | | | | | GL | |-------------| D - 4 |-------------| | | | | | Ven | | MerR | | | | | | Glk | | Asc | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | | Ket | | | HL | | | | | | | Jup | | | | | | | +----------------------+
Guest guest
Dear Alex, Based on the time given by you, I get the following: Jalapathana Saham(JPS): 16Vi50 Paradesa Saham(PDS): 06Ta23 Firstly, a change of 1 minute changes your D-9 Lagna to Ge!!!! Now, PDS is within 5-degree orb of Sun!!!! Both PDS and Sun are together in D-4!!! They are aspected by JPS lord Ju(In D-4) and Ke from Libra!!!! In D-4, Sun is once again aspected by 7L & 9L from 12H!!!! Ofcourse,I acknowledge, that it is easy to retro-fit events to the data given . Guest guest
Dear narayan sir, Your observations are immaculate and precise. But iw ould like you to ask , is rahu necessarily 'the' karaka for foreign travel just because he is a Mlechha in guna. why not moon and saturn be considered, because i have found in many charts moon as the planet for causiong foreign travel. Guest guest
Dear Narayan, You are right, there is the yoga of the 1st, 7th and 9th lords from the 12th house in D-4, the same as in D-1. I could be Gemini navamsa... I am undecided ;-) Thanks for all of the detailed exposition of the Sahams. This is obviously a fertile area of study that I must delve into.
