Guest guest
Hi Sally, I guess one would look at the 3rd house (hands), but writing is not merely the skill of the hands. It would involve a well-educated approach as well as choosing the appropriate words (a form of divining on the lexicon). Hence i feel that the 5th & Me are important. Does anyone have corrections/suggestions to offer? Please do as I am personally interested in this aspect of a chart. Regards K.Anand Sally wrote: >I thought the 3h would qualify for written material.. Sally > >Anand K wrote: > >>What are the yogas/combinations for fame in writing >>and authorship? Guest guest
dear anand, mercury rules communication, correspondence and publishing. jupiter rules speach, ideas . a strong jupiter and mercury are essential. jupiter and or moon in 1st 5th and 9th give authorship over books. venus and moon give creativity and poetic abilities. thankyou partha sarathy --- Anand <adithyaputra wrote: > Hi Sally, > I guess one would look at the 3rd house (hands), > but writing is not > merely the skill of the hands. Guest guest
Dear K.Anand, That's right. Although the 3H is not just hands but communication in general as well as writers, journalists, reporters. Mercury is also a significator as well as the 5H. Guest guest
I have a friend with jupiter mercury conjunct in the 9th who has absolutely no creative or poetic abilities, but likes reading. Pisces ascendant. On the other hand I have the chart of Agatha Christie. Mercury exalted in the 2nd with moon, venus own sign in the 3rd. I think imaginative literature may require the moon and mercury to cooperate. The strength of the 3rd house may be required to provide the writing ability. 15th Sept 1890 4 am. 3W30 50N28 TZ +0 GMT. In dasamsa, jupiter and mercury are together in the 2nd with mars, 3rd house has saturn in own sign. This may explain why she wrote about crime. I seem to remember that Rabindranath Tagore had moon and mercury(?) in his 2nd house. Perhaps the 2nd is the house of expression using words.
