Guest guest
Thanks Ron. My specific point was that a single planet Viparita can be formed if a dusthana lord is in ANOTHER dusthana house - not the same house. I agree that double of triple dusthana lords involved makes the yoga strong but that it is also fully operative when a dusthana lord is placed in another dusthana. I also believe that the Viparita yoga is more powerful than even the best raja yogas - perhaps to offset the suffering that also results from the planet(s) destruction. Although referencing ones own chart is not the best measure, I'm Libra rising with Venus in the 12th at 28 degrees, and 6th ruler Jupiter in the 3rd aspected by 10th ruler Moon from the 9th. When I ran Jupiter/Venus Dasa in 1975-77, I got an amazingly great job. I also find that Viparita effects are not temporary as Sanjay Rath's article seems to indicate. That is, the Viparita rise brings the person to a higher level of achievement from which the person continues to operate. Thus, after I got the great job, I later formed my own company and later on was recognized as an expert and became a consultant. In any event, the question remains whether a dusthana lord in its own house forms a Viparita, and if so, is this a weak form of it? thanks, doug riemer vedic astrology, ron@i... wrote: > Om Krishna Guru > --------------- > > Dear Doug and friends, > > Doug... > > I agree with your assessment. > > While I am not aware about any other variation(s); one could say that > a single planet forming a VRY (Vipareeta Raja Yoga), as in 12th lord > in 12th house, or 8th lord in 12th house, or whatever combination, is > a very weak form of VRY. > > One should have *at least* two lords of dusthana involved in VRY for > the VRY to take significance [someone please correct me on this if I > am wrong, many thanks in advance]. > > Of course... > > When all three lords of dusthana(s) [6th house, 8th house, and 12th > house] form a VRY, then the VRY is very strong. > > The only other variation that would come to my mind would be the > involvement of 3rd house lord in VRY [though I am not quite sure of > this one]. > > Due to several factors, 3rd house is *also* considered as a dusthana. > > Perhaps... > > The respected Guruji(s) and experts at this list may throw some more > light on this topic.
