vipareeta yoga - some doubts

Respected List Members

I have been following the posts on the vipareeta yoga and hope to get

some guidance from you with regards to this. I am looking at a chart,

date of birth 29 Nov 1970, Bombay at 7:50 am.

In this chart, 6th lord mars (also the lagna lord) is in 12th, 12th

lord venus is in 12th in own house, 3rd lord saturn is in 6th in

debilitation and aspecting 12th and is in turn being aspected by

venus and mars from 12th.

In your learned opinion is vitapreeta yoga formed here, how strong is

it and which planets are forming it? What is the impact if other

planets are also in the dusthanas....in this case Jupiter also in the

12th?

Also, for Scorpio Lagna, Venus and Mars are malefics while saturn is

a benefic. Does the fact that dusthanas are owned by malefics /

benefics make any difference to vitapreeta yoga? Does the Vipareeta

yoga occur only during dasa-bhuki of the concerned planets or do

transitory influences also play a role?

I'd be grateful for your clarifications.

Kind Regards

Saraswathy

NB: Chart's full details are Scorpio lagna, Sun and moon in

ascendant, mercury in Sag, Rahu in Aqu, Saturn debilitated in Aries,

Kethu in Leo and Mars, venus & jupiter in Libra.

Hello Mam,

Learned members here have pointed out the concept of vipareeta raja

yoga (VRY) and when it is funtional. I would only add that the fruits

of VRY can be established only when we mark out the Karta(s), Kevela,

Yogada(s), Kevala Yogada and Kevala Maha yogada. (Information about

these are elaborately expalined in Lesson # 12 of our Guruji).

Only when we know the order of strengths of these, VRY can be

correctly predicted.

Thanks and Regards

Dear Sir, Some observations on the proposed yoga...6L Mars is weak by

degree and is a functional malefic, Venus is also a functional malefic.

The aspects on Saturn from Venus and Mars are not close. Sincerely,

Sally

Hi Sally

Thanks for your observations. The issues raised by you were also

those I wished to get clarified.....first, does a VRY formed by

malefics differ from a VRY formed by benefics? Second, isn't it true

that VRY when formed by weak planets is more powerful (in which case

the VRY in this chart would be strong)? Also, 6th lord mars (who is

also lagna lord) is in 12th - so doesn't this fulfil the other

condition for VRY, i.e., that there has to be a connection between

the dusthana lords forming VRY and the lagna?

I'd be grateful for any comments from list members.
