A little while ago I received a reply from Dr Suresh Chandra Mishra

re how to calculate the pratyantardasa for Tara Lagna Dasha:

Pratyantardasha (PD) or Sub-sub periods

Pratayantar dasa (PD) will be calculated in the same manner as you

do of

AD. TL dasha lasts for 9 years, AD for 9 months and PD for 9 months

x 30 =

270 days /12 = 22.5 days. The order of PD will be controlled by

the position

of AK, like AD.

In other words, reverse or natural order should be followed as it

was for AD

in the case in question. PD will commence from AD only in a certain

order

as confirmed by AD's location.
