In the examples I gave, Jupiter was in own sign. When we talk about friendly signs, whether to use permanent relationships or compound relationships is not clear from classics. I suggest using compound relationships. If Mars is in Cp, Aq, Pi, Ta, Ge or Cn, then he is an adhimitra (good friend) of Jupiter. Else, he is a sama (neutral). If Mars is in these signs, then Saraswati yoga is technically present. Otherwise, it is not there. But partial results may be felt. Guest guest
RESPECTED SIR THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND REPLY. THSU WHAT I UNDERSTAND IS THAT IF MARS IS IN SCORPIO FOR INSTANCE , AND EVEN THOUGH IT IS MARS OWN SIGN THEN THERE WOULD BE TECHNICALLY NO SARASWATHI YOGA. BUT HE MAY HAVE PARTIAL EFFECTS OF THE SAME.
