Guest guest
It seems the direction one faces has an influence on the mind. Studies are said to be best when facing the East or NE, and activities are best towards south. Directional effects seem to be true world wide. Then in worship also, the direction faced should flavor the relationship with, or the thoughts & preceived nature of the divine worshiped. If true, then all devotees facing a common center may have different flavors as to how the devine is preceived. Islam has Mecca as the center towards which all face. Does this give a slight tendency toward knowledge (Jupiter) in Ethopia, and disturbance & intolerance (Rahu) in Afghanistan, etc?
