Guest guest
dear list , could someone shed light on bhava chart(equal house) and what is the significance. for example my lagna lord jupiter(pisces ascendant) which is in pisces in D-1 moves to the 12 house in equal house chart. secondly is it good/bad to had vargottam rahu/ketu(D-1 and d-9). ajit ______________________ For Stock Quotes, Finance News, Insurance, Tax Planners, Mutual Funds... Guest guest
Dear Ajit, I am only writing what I believe as correct. I can be wrong. Bhava chart is a good one. In fact, if a planet moves to another Bhava, it shows the influence of that position also. If it is in the same position, then it will be the strong indicatore of place what it occupies. To give you an example , I have Sukra in 5th house for mithuna lagna. But it went to 6th in Bhava. I had lot of health problem in my first (sukra) dasa. In Bhava chart, it went to 6th house along with Kuja. In kuja dasa, I got married and got a daughter also. Once you erect Bhava chart, don't look for Budha in Mithuna like that. look for budha in which bhava and interpret accordingly. In your case, you can't assume budha is not debilitated just because it moved to d-12. It just shows, Budha influences the 12th bhava. Mere vargottama positions need not mean you will get good results. Malefics when strengthened heighten the miseries often. If the nodes are in raja yoga positions, those results are more likely when they become strong. SO, it is relative and it is not an automatic guarantee that they always give good results. I will always suggest caution with Rahu and Kethu. they are difficult to judge! Always know that your lagna lord is the protector for you. FOr Pisces, Mars is a good planet again. Look for Moon also for good results. You are a lucky person to be born in this Lagna. GUru krupa, devotion, higher knowledge etc. are easy for this lagna in my view. warm regards, Balaji S. --- ajit ahluwalia <ajit_ahlu wrote: > dear list , > could someone shed light on bhava chart(equal house) > and what is the significance. for example my lagna > lord jupiter(pisces ascendant) which is in pisces in > D-1 moves to the 12 house in equal house chart. > secondly is it good/bad to had vargottam > rahu/ketu(D-1 > and d-9). > > ajit > > > ______________________ > For Stock Quotes, Finance News, Insurance, Tax > Planners, Mutual Funds... > Visit http://in.finance./ > Send your FREE holiday greetings online! http://greetings. Guest guest
Dear Visti, My apologies to both you and Balaji for butting in like this but I thought I'll write what little I know about this; I hope this isn't taken too much offense to. A bhavachakra, as you may already know, is drawn with the first bhava being equi-spread across the lagna longitude, and the other bhavas arranged at 30 progressive degrees. Actually, there are two methods of drawing up a bhavachakra - the more popular equal house Ptolomic system or the Porphyry System propogated by Sripathi. For reasons of complexity, the former is more popular. Depending on bhava sandhis, if planets are placed behind a starting point of a bhava, they go to the next bhava though the planets occupy the same rasi. When we compare the rasichakra with the bhavachakra, we find that sometimes the plaets may move to the next or previous bhavas. Of course, there may also be plenty of cases where the two charts are identical. When we say a planet is moving to the next bhava, it doesn't mean it's changed the rasi. Two or more planets, together in the rasichakra, can get separated in the bhavachakra. In much the same way, they can unite in the bhavachakra too, having been in different rasis in the rasichakra. The efficacy of a rajayoga or a non-beneficial conjunction in only one of the two charts is automatically lessened. Many luminaries like Raman have regarded these changing of bhavas, joining and separating planetary combinations, as very important features in reading a chart. Hence the saying that destiny links the unlinked and delinks the linked Conjunctions, aspects, quadrines and trines are all taken from the bhavachakra. Exaltations, debilitations and moolatrikonas are reckoned from the rasichakra. Planetary combinations have to be necessarily reckoned only after ascertaining consistency across both charts. A bhava lord can only give results when he isn't in either a rasi or bhava sandhi. The midpoint lord of a bhava is known as the sookshma lord of the bhava, whereas the rasi lord is the bhava's sthoola lord. The transit of major planets, whether malefics or benefics, passing thru the midpoints give significant events at the time of transits. Pardon the wordiness of this post, but brevity hasn't always been one of my known strengths Warm regards, Ramapriya hubli --- Visti Larsen <in_joy_i_scream wrote: > Vyam Vysadevaya Namaha! > --------------- > Dear Balaji, > Please teach us, what the Bhava chart is used for. > Best wishes, Visti. > > --- balaji srinivasan <sri_balaji wrote: > > Dear Ajit, > > > > I am only writing what I believe as correct.
