Hi folks,

Due to their mysterious working, two softwares that I commonly use

for horoscope casting (Jagannatha Hora Lite and Junior Jyotish) are

giving different results for two planets in my navamsa. I was born at

11:10 am on 10th July 1967 at Hubli (75-13E, 15-20N). While JHL shows

the navamsas of Ra and Ke as Gem and Saggi, JJ shows these as Can and

Capri !!

Can someone analyze my navamsa chart, please? There's the AK Moo in

lagnamsa Aq, Jup in Sco, Mer in Ari, Sun in Tau, etc.

Warm regards,

Ramapriya

Dear Ramapriya!

JJ uses true nodes whereas JHL used mean nodes, thats why the difference. In

phalita Jyotisha, nodes can't go in a zodiacal direction as they are opposed

to Luminaries, the Sun and the Moon. If we consider true nodes, then Rahu

can sometimes go in forward and sometimes in retrograde motion, which is

unacceptable in Phalita Jyotisha. However, mean nodes always go in

retrograde motion (i.e., anti-zodiacal) and hence should only be

considered.. This is as per what Gurudeva Sanjay teaches.

Hence accept JHL version.
