sade sathi(saturn) - Need help and guidance

Respected Members,

 

I have a few questions regarding sade sathi (saturn) period.

 

How does the ill-effects of the 7.5 year sade sathi period manifest

for children?

 

I have two kids who will be starting this period when Saturn moves

into Gemini in July of this year of 2002. Both were born under

punarvasu 4th pada (cancer Rasi). The older one is a boy with Gemini

lagna and Saturn in Moolatrikona in Aquarious in 9th house. The

younger one is a girl with scorpio lagna with Saturn debilitated in

Aries in the 6th house. What can I expect in terms of how this period

will affect them given the different strengths of Saturn in both the

charts?

 

I went through this during my twenties with many bad memories. Lost my

mother as soon as the period started. Had a terrible time establishing

career and generally faced a lot of resistence and problems in all

aspects of life. Though everything turned out OK in the end, it left a

bad taste in my mouth so to speak. The final blessing that the saturn

bestowed on me (as the 4th and 5th lord) just before the period ended

was the birth of my son. I had all this trouble with a Libra lagna

and the saturn being a yogakaraka in the moolatrikona sign of

aquarious in 5th (note that my son got the same placement of saturn as

me and my husband who has it in acquarious also).

 

My question is, are there any remedies one could follow to reduce any

ill-effects on the children? How about adults? Are they different? My

husband who has leo rasi and aries lagna will be starting this period

also in another 3 years when Saturn moves into Cancer at which point

all three of them are in sade sathi.

 

I am absolutely dreading this situation and would like to hear from

the gurujis for facing this situation with strength and courage. Your

wisdom and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Dear Sma,

 

There is no need to worry. Saturn is a good teacher

and in this period he puts us back on the track. No

doubt he is a hard teacher. It won't affect if you

discharge your duties as "Karma Yogi".

 

Your husband will be going thru Second round of sade

sathi which will be good. By the time 71/2 years pass

by he will be well settled in life.

 

Pray Lord Hanuman for mental strength and recite

Hanuman Chalisa.

Wear a ring made of iron of Black horse shoe or

nail extracted from boat. Better if Horse Shoe is

tied at the entrance of door, will definitely save

you form all problems.

Dear sma,

 

There is a very good book written by Mahadeva Pathak (writer of Jatak Tatwa, the

classic) sometime in 1850 on Sade Saati for each ascendant, combined with

location of the Moon in 12 houses for each ascendant. Its name is 'Shani

Vichar'.

 

If you have will and desire to learn astrology, a xerox copy of this Hindi book

(out of print) can be arranged. But be cautious that this 7.5 years transit of

Saturn over and around the Moon has been overawed and misunderstood. This

period is not always bad. It can bring good results too. There are other

reading material too on it. Which can be provided on your demand.
