Okay Gauranga, got that. Nice analogy :)

 

A few weeks ago, in response to one of my posts, you'd commented that

a retro Merc-Sun combine aspecting the fifth house was useful. The

gurus on this group have recently confirmed that my ascendant isn't

Virgo but Leo (a close borderline case). The Merc-Sun conjunction in

my chart is in Gemini; thus yeah, my 5th house is aspected by them...

Yes, this is called Nipuna yoga or Buddhaditya yoga. Very good for study of

philosophy and astrology. Especially Lagnesh conjoining or aspecting the 5th

house may give rise to Dhimantah yoga, and make the native very skillful in

studies, and good results may come out if he applies himself nicely. The

influence on 5th house should be checked in D-10 and D-24 also to ascertain

your intellectual capabilities.
