Northern vs Sn Hemisphere

This query has been troubling me for so long, that I might as well ask it once.

I know the short & long ascension signs become the opposite for the Southern Hemisphere (SH).

In charts for the SH, do the directions where planets are strong, or those they

rule reverse (S vs N). Ideally, nothing, as the directions are not related to

the ecliptic, but to a mapping of the sky. But is that so? Actually we are

mapping just the ecliptic (zodiacal signs & nakshatras), which ARE South of us

in the NH & N to those in the SH, in a general sense.

Actually, this query arose in my mind, from another one. Where references are

made to mid-heaven= zenith= usually the 10th house, vs nadir= patal= 4th house.

And so, we have various interpretations made for 10= acme of results, & 4=

subconscious drivers deep down, & where 4 from L2 is hassled by L2 as it is

patal, & so on. In all these references, 10 is up & S of us, where the Sun

passes overhead, because we are in the NH, & most of known astrology began in

the NH.

I am afraid to even ask the question.

Regards

Nandan (just opened a a/c, as GoK how long i will had the current office

id, given certain happenings in my job. And didnt want to call myself

Nandan420, or the much longer one which wd include my surname. Hence nanadhan,

ie the 1st nearest sounding permutation I cd remember later)
