Strength of planets?

Dear friends,

 

If there are 3 planets in one single house, do we look for the planet

with the highest degree to find the strongest planet?

Is this rule ignore the fact of the age of planet ( e.g. infant,

young, and old).

 

I above question is for finding different deatis, or Devatas not the

overall strength of a planet in a chart.

Dear Chandan,

 

Namaste.

 

In this case you should use the sources of strength listed by Maharishi

Jaimini. First see if any of the planets are exalted/Mooltrikona/own house,

because this will determine strength. If none of them are exalted,

debilitated or in won house, then see the degrees (for Rahu and Ketu count

from the end of the sign.)
