Is this rule ignore the fact of the age of planet ( e.g. infant, young, and old). I above question is for finding different deatis, or Devatas not the overall strength of a planet in a chart. First see if any of the planets are exalted/Mooltrikona/own house, because this will determine strength. If none of them are exalted, debilitated or in won house, then see the degrees (for Rahu and Ketu count from the end of the sign.)
