The house with the Badhakesh will indicate the area of the problems. 6th shows enemies, uncles, etc. Mercury shows close relatives and uncles. The rest i'd refrain from without a complete chart. Guest guest Posted January 14, 2002 Report Share Posted January 14, 2002 Hi Dr Dilip, i hope you can figure out what it means to you to have those placements. i'm a scorpio lagna, moon is in capricorn in 3rd conjunct a debilitated jupiter. this is how i figured it, i think since it's in the 3rd, it's what shows why i have a hard time communciating. i think because it's conjunct the deb 5th and 2nd lord, which is expression and speaking, that it shows that sometimes what i say and express comes out wrong, or i have to try extra hard to say what i really think. also, my dad and my little brother have very different opinions when it comes to religion and spirituality. i have always had the opportunity to listen to both their views and neither of them are pushy with their veiws on me, but are pushy with their views on each other, that probably ties into this badhak stuff too. i don't know, but for you, if you're not already religious/spiriutal, i would think that your sun being in th 6th conjunct the 9th/12th lord mercury, and since that's also a conflict house, that you would have a hard time figuring out which would give you more success, and then maybe since mars is an energy planet, it's aspect from the 3rd would show you have the energy tp put forth a lot of hard work to figure this out. otherwise, the other thing i was thinking with your set up, was that material success is clouding you, and it's destroying your spiritual success. but then jupiter is the original 9th/12th lord and is sitting in the 10th house of accomplishments, so it kinda seems to loop, hmm. well, i hope you didn't mind my imput, and i hope it comes to you, angie vedic astrology, Visti Larsen <in_joy_i_scream> wrote: > Vyam Vysadevaya Namah! > ---------- > Dear Dr. Dilip, > The more planets with the Badhakesh, the more > problems. I am trying to analyse the badhakesh in the attached chart. Sun- the Badhakesh is strong , being uchchabhilasi , and aspected by the exalted dispositor- Jupiter. Badhaka effect of Sun would be less here due to the aspect of Devaguru Jupiter. Malefic planets give good results when placed in 3, 6, and 11th houses . Sun being a malefic is supposed not to give bad results as it is placed in the 6th house.These are the factors which Lessens the bad property of the badhakesh. Now, the areas of life,which will suffer--1. Badhakesh is in the 6th house, aspected by Mars . Violent and powerful enemy will cause trouble in dasa and antardasa of Sun.But, there is the saving grace of Jupiter by its aspect from the 10th house. 2. Badhakesh is associated with 9th lord Mercury -debilitated, this may signify that the native has forgotten to worship his Ista devata(9th lord) in his previous birth, and as the combination is in the 6th house of diseases, this neglect could be the cause of his physical ailments. 9th lord signifies higher education, and its association with badhakesh resulted in a break in the post-graduate study of the native in the dasa of badhakesh. In the dasa of the badhakesh, the native entered into a life of spirituality and developed detachment from worldly desires. Can badhakesh give spirituality? I also don't want to be spoon-fed. But as a neophyte in astrology, I need some guidance from knowledgable person like you.
