Shakti Vinayak Mantra for Japam is:

OM HREEM GAM HREEM MAHAGANAPATAYE NAMAH SWAHA .

The one I have written in my mail to Gurudev Pt. Sanjayji is better known as

Vighneshwara Ganapati Mantra. I wanted to know from Gurudev whether

Vighneshwara Ganesh Mantra is the same as Swetaarka Ganesh Mantra.

You can get all these mantras and many more in Gurudev Pt. Sanjay Rath's book

'Vedic Remedies in Astrology'.

Thanks for correcting me. I had misconception about the mantra. Narasimhaji in

another message , has given the meaning of the mantra which may be useful for

many of the list. I am grateful to both of you.

Sanjayji, may I ask you another related question? The colour of Venus is said to

be variegated. If in a horoscope ketu is with venus in taurus, can we accept the

colour of Ganapati as white in that case? Can we accept the colour of Venus as

white here as he is brahmin?

Can we do Japam of Shakti- Ganapati Mantra in front of the Idol of Swetarka Ganapati?

Is the following Japa-mantra , the right one for Swetarka-Ganapati?

OM GAM GLAUM GANAPATAYE VIGHNAVINASHINE SWAHA .

Dear SarbaniNamaskar,I beg to correct Dilip babu here. The reference is to

Ganapati Maharaj only.He is 'Sashivarnam' when worshipped with Vishnu, as

Bhagavan gave Him theelephant head. The Sashi varnam is a brahmin color and

Ganapati here is purein a mood to study. such a mood is rare and most conducive

to study; and insuch a mood He wrote the Mahabharata as recited from the lips of

SriVyasadeva.This idol of 'Sashivarnam' Vughneswara is made from the root of a

treecalled 'sveta-ark' or as we people from the east say sweta-aak'. The idol

isto be about the size of your thumb and if worshipped everyday with a

certainmantra after the dhyana shloka which was being discussed, you get the

entireknowledge of PARA VIDYA!In fact Ganesha is worshipped in many colors and

that would depend on thestrongest planet influencing Ketu or the sign Ketu is

in. 'Haridra-Ganapati'or yellow Ganesha is worshipped in relation to

sagittarius or Jupiter.Sashivarnam is the Moon & Ketu yoga we find in the chart

of ChaitanyaMahaprabhu.The natural color of Ganapati is Red as this is the color

of the first signAries. Further Ketu in Aries/Sagittarius (RED/YELLOW one

translation ofJaimini) or Cancer/Pisces (WHITE GANESHA my translation) is

responsible forgranting Moksha. I think the latter is correct. SVETA_ARK is the

key. Try toget this root and then have a Ganesha idol made and see the results

the local books about mantras.the author(Rather I call him as the collector of

mantras) has given the Shakthi Vinayaka Mantra as:OM HREEM GREEM HREEM or OM

HREEM GLEEM HREEM.

Thank you and I will buy the book of Pandith Sanjayaji and follow the mantras given there.
