She tried to commit suicide couple of months back by trying to jump off the balcony. She had climbed over the balcony and stood on the thin ledge about to jump off. Then almost in a trance she had climbed back again and her life was saved miraculously. Important event in her life: her father had passed away when she was 12 yr. She is libra lagna, kumbh rashi. Lagna lord venus is debilitated in the 12H. 8H is occupied by rahu. Mars and ketu in 2H, aspecting the 8th. I believe mars and ketu combo an be quite deadly. But the interesting point is, that she has saturn exalted in lagna and mars (2H), jupiter (3H) and the sun (11H) in their own house. Mercury is with sun. She is running sat-merc dasha. Does the fact of having 3 planets in swakshetra together with an exalted planet balance the other negatives? Guest guest Posted January 28, 2002 Report Share Posted January 28, 2002 Hello Sarbani, I am curious to know about this incident if it happened around April/May 2001, As you mentioned that Vimshottari dasha of Saturn/Mercury, Few things to note that is that Mercury is in Nakshetra of Ketu and Ketu is strong Marak in this horo as it is associtated with strong Mars which is strong strong Marak ruling both 7th and in swarashi in 2nd house (Sort of double dose). if it happened around April/May 2001 mercury was transiting 7th( Marak) / 8th(longevity)House so if mercury if in 8th then aspecting 2nd (Marak) or if in 7th (in Marak). It maybe from the period that you mention. I will have to find out more to know the exact timing. I think, influence of Jupiter on 9th House (house of mercury) and 11th house and mercury protected her.
