Guest guest
dear friends and visti sir(because you only answer my questions most of the time) i read some articles, other than pundit sanjay rath and other eminent astrologers, that a retrograde and debilitated planet is equivalent to exalted planet.is it true?one of our members, and also my friend partha insisted ,when i have given my friends chart for reading, that retrograde jupiter since debiltated is equivalent to exalted planet. but in my opinion and as per sanjay rahts articles infact a debilitated and retrograde palnet can give more negative effects than only debilitated planet-pl kindly commnet on this next question is:there is a particular degree at which a planet exalts or debilitates.suppose if the planet is in its exaltation/debilitation sign but not at the degree at which it is supposed to be exalted/debilitated then what can we say?i mean it is exalted/debilitated completely or exalted/ debilitated partially. example as we all know jupiter debilitates at 5 degrees in capricorn. suppose it is at 10 degrees then what can we infer from that. thank you ram

Fact is that a retrogade planet shows that theres something unresolved from past birth. If the planet is also debilitated, the issue will result in some very inauspicious happenings. i.e. an unresolved issue in past birth will come to this birth and damage you! However if this is in a Dusthana(for benefic grahas) or Kendra/Trikona(For malefic grahas) its auspicious.next question is:there is a particular degree at which a planet exalts or debilitates.suppose if the planet is in its exaltation/debilitation sign but not at the degree at which it is supposed to be exalted/debilitated then what can we say?i mean it is exalted/debilitated completely or exalted/ debilitated partially. Visti: I've always been abit unsure about this. Meditate on it i guess. The Rishi's must have given these degrees for a purpose. Maybe a Guru can shed light on this. Best wishes, Visti. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ------------------------------- Dear Aru, I won't analyse your chart, but i can qoute from Varahamihira in this regard; "An Exalted planet who's also retrogade will give no effects." This would be good in a dusthana, but itsn't good for health as its lagna lord in ur case. Luckily Venus and Ketu give aspect on it, which isn't detetrimental. Chesta Bala shows a different kind of strength. Give the retrogade concept some thought, and figure out what it means to have retrogade planets. Luminaries are never retro, and The nodes always are. How about the rest? You have Jagannath Hora Lite. In the future, attach your chart to the email, or copy the Rasi and Navamsa Kundali to the email. Best wishes, Visti. - aru_dulla vedic astrology Saturday, February 02, 2002 10:22 PM [vedic astrology] Re: small doubt reg retrograde planet Dear visti.......what if the retrograde planet is exalted but in a dusthana?
