VRY by CONJ Lds.Dus in the 1st place Viparit yoga, viparit raj yoga

Let me correct u as per what I have learnt from our Gurudev.

I am ignoring the following VRYs as they are not being discussed here:

a) weak St related, b) Arudh Lagna related.

Dusthan lords in dusthan (other than own) could form weak VRYs

(basically UttarKalamrit's definition). However, strong VRYs are formed

by 2 CONJOINING dusthan lords in a) dusthan (relatively weaker

version), & b) kendra OR KON. So Dr Banerjee's reference chart has a

VERY STRONG VRY.

Dear Anjaneya

You are saying the same thing I am (ref varahamihira lesson on VRY).

Didnt understand if u meant to say something different. Anyway,

Partha's FURTHER question has made me think. But let me put it, in my

own way: in the strongest case of all, ie 2 conjoining lords of

dusthans in a kendra or kon, if there is no other conjunction & it is

not aspected by AK/ lagna-lord, who is gaining at expense of whom?

Dear Nandan

If two dusthana lords are weakly placed in a dusthana, even then it can be very

strong VRY, if they are weakly placed (if one among them are debilitated and

other is weak, they are placed in enemies house or the dispositor is weakly

placed).

Mere placement of a dusthana lord in other dusthana is mere a veepareeta yoga

and has the power to give affluence too, however not like the strong VRYs, which

are rare.
