Guest guest
dear Nimmi when i looked at this chart, i said oh my god!!!. SO many exalted planets. That was the first look, now the depth, despite the fact that there are so many exalted planets, there are some weak points too. Jupiter is vargottama, jupiter is enemy for this lagna thus his strength is only strengthening his enemies. added to it is the fact that venus is also vargottama and his dispositor jupiter is exalted!!. It is not my prerogative to find faults but yes there are some difficulties for the native. He would invite enmeies and also has good amount of opposition in his life. But 6th house is a great upachaya sthana and thus the person will rise with will and determination. Checked the ashtakavarga for both rasi and dasamsa. the figures are 29-1st house, 29-10th house in rasi 27 -1st house and 31 for 10th house in dasamsa chart. thus this person is not so SUCCESSFUL, as he would have liked to be. The strong opposition of sun and saturn in his chart shows that he doesnot like authority, may have despised father or fought with boss etc. Rahu and saturn are not well placed in navamsa there is a technique that i use to ascertain the real strength of planets and on this count saturn fares poorly. Added to it is rahu, he is debilitated in rasi and aspects 9th house. Good chart on initial look but not so extraordiary when going deep. I have not done Arudha analysis because there are many experts in this list who can do much better than me. regards partha vedic astrology, "Nimmi Ragavan" <106350.3660@c...> wrote: > Dear Partha, > > It is 4:46 pm on 13th May 1955 170E30 45S53 +12:00 GMT > > The attached file was a jhd file which can be opened with JHL - this was > done before Narasimha released his new version. > > You shouldn't belittle your brain so much you know, it seems to do quite > well! > > Cheers, > > Nimmi > > - > "partvinu5" <partvinu5> > <vedic astrology> > Friday, March 01, 2002 11:08 AM > [vedic astrology] Re: Very strong AK > > > > > > dear nimmi > > > > could you be more clear with the details, may be time, place and date > > of birth. the downloaded data file is showing some strange numbers > > which are confusing my little brain. > > regards > > partha > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > To UNSUBSCRIBE: Blank mail to vedic astrology-@e... > > > > ....... Guest guest
Dear Partha, You are spot on about the relationship with the father. And yes, he tends to challenge authority where he thinks it is mistaken. But people tend to respect him for it as he does not really do so for egoistic reasons. Neither does he have many enemies or opposition. I would say he has always had a pretty smooth sailing life without a great deal of effort on his part. I think the strong venus in the 6th prevents illnesses and enemies. I think because both the grahas associated with the 6th are benefics. However the association with the 6th make him a VERY hard worker. Jupiter dasa is currently running and gave him the opportunity to move to a new country and settle there - a second migration. It gave him property overseas (aspect on 4th house?). But it also gave some problems at the work place as his company had serious problems for a while and could not meet its financial obligations. This happened during Jupiter-Venus, where you would expect the 6th house effects to peak. Basically he had to keep working very hard for no pay for a year or so. Rahu dasa was very successful for him. During that time he travelled a lot and also was considered the top professional in his company. But he has always had a good reputation at work. Regarding ashtakavarga - I would say he is far more successful than I am in his profession (we both work in computers) and I have 30 points in my lagna and 43 points in my 10th house. My 10th ruler is in the 12th combust and his is in the 4th with digbala, with dispositor also exalted in a kendra, aspected by a strong Jupiter from the 10th. I think graha positions/strengths and yogas give more accurate results. My brother who has had a brilliant career history has 24 in lagna and 32 in the 10th. But he has about 4 grahas in his 10th forming raja yogas etc with all the right dasas coming at the right age. And if you check chartx.jhd I sent earlier (Taurus lagna) you find 42 points in the 10th in ashtakavarga! Guest guest
dear Nimmi My point regarding ashtakavarga was simple. See just think about it, if a chart has four exalted planets and two exalted planets vargottama , he must achieve great heights and be very popular as the lagna lord is in simhasanamsa. Thus the ashtakavarga did not fail as it showed that despite the great yogas and the great combinations the person is not very famous. in the other case there are really not so favourable combinations so ashtakavarga doesnot make much of a difference.the chart of postmaster, moon has no planets besides it. and there are so many afflictions in the chart. so ashtakavarga doesnot make a huge difference right. regards partha vedic astrology, "Nimmi Ragavan" <106350.3660@c...> wrote: > Dear Partha, > > You are spot on about the relationship with the father. And yes, he tends to > challenge authority where he thinks it is mistaken. Guest guest
I have a similar chart with Venus the AK exalted in 6th house in Rasi and is exalted in many divisional charts as well, but the peculiarity of this chart is it also has KSY on 6/12. This native has suffered a lot in life in relationship which was explained by the amavasya moon in 7th. She also has not yet clicked in career. She is not that spiritual also, but people tend to give a prediction towards sage like figure. Any comments on this chart. Guest guest
Partha, Why do you expect fame of that order just based on planetary positions? There must be a very large number of people born around that time who also have the same. A strong lagna lord gives good physical health and resilience. It also gives a strong sense of individuality. This person looks vastly younger than his age, is almost always happy and never bored. He actually has everything he wants. With exalted saturn in the ascendant, he actually does not need very much. He dresses in the most plain manner, drives unremarkable cars, does not live in an ostentatious house (but has multiple properties). I think you need a lot of concentration on 10th to want to be famous. This chart is too spread around. My brother with 4 planets in the 10th and another friend with 3 planets in the 10th are far more success oriented. And both have raja yogas in the 10th so that success has in fact beein achieved. This person actually does not like attention. He does not believe in politics and has never voted in his life. He does not want power, has turned down management positions to continue doing what he does. He does not belong to any clubs or organizations. The only thing he absolutely loves is travel and foreign countries. Once he spent 10 years with his birthday every year in a different country. Measured by what he wants he is very successful. He has never had financial pressures even when he was not being paid. I think this is because Jupiter is actually kept under check by the aspect of saturn, which curbs any excessive ambition that the strong jupiter could have generated. This is a person who does not get into excessive debt, who spends half of what he can actually afford, had no need for recognition for anything other than writing good software. And that only by the users of that software. Another person I know with 3 exalted planets and jupiter in own sign works from home. Does not want to be famous (sun exalted in 4th!), just wants to work from home and spend time with his family etc. He actually does very well financially from this work. Success and fame are two different things. Success is achieving what you want. Fame is being well known. If the 10th has a lot of energy concentration then the two can come together. Look at Einstein and the neecha bhanga in the 10th house. The 9th and 10th are in exchange, venus is exalted in the 10th and lagna lord neecha bhanga in the 10th. Now that to me would indicate fame much more. Guest guest
dear nimmi your last post was very interesting. I do agree that fame and career success are two different things. SOme have fame as well as career sucess. Some get fame due to thier social activities, due to philantrhphy etc. That was not the point. Mahatam Gandhi had moon and rahu in 10th house, Shri KN rao has jupiter in 10th exalted for libra lagna, is not he famous in what he chose as his karma. 10th can be a very specific profession or karma depending upon the planetary alignments. and it is very well given in shastras that lagna lord in simhasanamsa -provided it is not combust and debilitated in vargas does give strong raja yoga. Thus despite the best of placements we can explain why so and so is not so famous. ANd i have found that after analysing planetary placements if i use ashtakavarga analysis i can know how much?? a person can achieve. it has worked for me. there might be instances where there are people who may not give importance to ashtakavarga. Strong bindus in ashtakavarga complement the raja yogas present in the chart and not the other way round. Shri vajpayee has strong dasamsa chart and added to it is the fact that there are favourable bindus in ashtakavarga chart for dasamasa varga. regards partha vedic astrology, "Nimmi Ragavan" <106350.3660@c...> wrote: > Partha, > > Why do you expect fame of that order just based on planetary positions? > There must be a very large number of people born around that time who also > have the same. > > A strong lagna lord gives good physical health and resilience. Guest guest
Hi The concentration of planets in the 6th and 7th - a great deal of energy is being expended on relationships with 4 planets there. But then venus in the 6th is afflicted by saturn and rahu as well. But there are strange things going on with her co-workers with saturn and rahu in the 6th. Did she have any relationships with some very strange people there? There are strong financial yogas too in the 7th with 2nd lord, 9th lord, 11th lord combined and also chandra-mangal which tends to augment such financial yogas. I think she could make money either through a relationship or working for an independent company. Did anything like that happen since 1988? Regards, Nimmi - "vijayuma" <vijayuma <vedic astrology> Saturday, March 02, 2002 8:29 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Very strong AK-dear nimmi > > I have a similar chart with Venus the AK exalted in 6th house in Rasi > and is exalted in many divisional charts as well, but the peculiarity > of this chart is it also has KSY on 6/12. > > This native has suffered a lot in life in relationship which was > explained by the amavasya moon in 7th. Guest guest
om gurave namah --------------- Dear Nimmi, One thing I have learnt about exalted planets(Having 4 of them myself :-)) is that the native will generally be contented and have a happy-go-lucky attitude. Worries, Tension is something that they deal with effectively or prefer to avoid! Remember the metaphor for exalted planets, of being in an enjoyable/partying mood.... hence...natives having multiple exalted planets do not feel the need to prove something or acheieve something. Usually/Generally such people are considered unambitious (relative to their capacity). Our ancient astrological literature clearly states that presence of malefics in quadrants or debilitation of planets are not good..Why?? ...Because it gives them a tough time from the inside...they feel as under-achievers and inferiority complex grapples them. But, this is Kaliyuga represented by Capricorn where DevaGuru Jupiter gets debilitated & Mars gets exalted! So this conflict on the inside...is what propels people to go on the outside and *achieve* something. If you watch any of th entertainment channels like E! or for that matter even A&E where they show the biography or life story of celebrities...it becomes painfully clear that *most* of these *successful* people were ones with tremendous inferiority complex, and they feel the need to over-compensate by shining in something or the other, either by *hook or crook*!! I took the liberty to observe the natives chart. 1. Did he get married between Dec 82 & Feb 83? 2. Did he have health problems before marriage? 3. Jupiter is exalted in 12H from AL being 5L & 8L(from AL) This period will be a period of setbacks and subsequently he will recover from it. Jupiter-Venus period is very obvious as Venus is 8h from AL. 4. At work, the native maybe perceived as an idealist who sticks his neck out for what his beliefs and conviction. 5. Problems in marriage!!!! 6. Bad relationship with Father is clear from Rasi & D-12! As far as Ashtakavarga is concerned, I feel its a relative concept. If the 11H has 20% more points that 10H, then depending on the amount of work put income will be 20% greater, so on and so forth. Other factors like yogas and planets in 10H also matters. Usually more ts contribute points to the 11H from their position. Hence the more the number of planets in 10H the more the points for 8H, which shows hard work etc. In Kaliyuga it is a blessing! If a house has too many AV points, then the opposite house is likely to suffer. Hence it is preferred that 1H-7H axis should have more or less equal points. Otherwise, one is likely to enjoy at the expense of the partner and relationship is anything but equal. Just my 2 cents. Guest guest
Dear Narayan, 1. Did he get married between Dec 82 & Feb 83? No. I think 1986/87. 2. Did he have health problems before marriage? Only in childhood at around 10. Yes. 5. Problems in marriage!!!! Not yet. Actually he tends to be oversensitive. But I think his partner will predecease with 7th lord in 8th with 12th lord and sun in 7th aspected by saturn. 6. Bad relationship with Father is clear from Rasi & D-12! Yes! But there is an essential kindness in him that the unkindness was more from the father's side. The native went out of his way to be nice to his father while not having a high opinion of him. I think this is the strength of venus which produces compassion. About exalted planets and happy-go-lucky attitude - you are spot on. Other people worry and work on his behalf. That is very interesting about the relative points in ashtakavarga. I would agree with you there. Thanks for the interesting comments. Guest guest
Hello Narayan, Is this an observation you have made or a general principle? Reason I ask is I know of atleast one chart which is quite strong in terms of planetary positions; however, the principle does not apply at all. However, it can be understood because the native did not experience many favourable dashas..... You can chk. for yourself. Feb.20, 1945 in Amritsar, India at 5:30 PM. Guest guest
Hi Sanjiv, My point was that the native need not make a mark in this world because of exaltation of planets. However, the observation that I stated and which you refer is mine and not written in any texts!!! In Saravartha Chintamani, it is clearly mentioned that one must consider the amsas attained by planets in other vargas and that one must not judge the planets only by virtue of their state in Raasi! I remember Sanjay quoting Parasara, that in Kali Yuga, in order to get the effect of exalted planets, atleast one planet should be debilitated! Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna Dear Narayan! One small addendum... the debilitation of a planet for enjoying the fruits of exaltation doesn't mean that the planet shall be debilitated actually. What it means is that if some planet if exalted, its objective shouldn't clash with some other strong planet, otherwise there will tussles and the result shall be null. So If Jupiter is exalted, Mars shall not be... (Oppisite signs exaltation). Regards Anjaneya Hi Sanjiv, My point was that the native need not make a mark in this world because of exaltation of planets.
