Guest guest
an *interesting* chart whose owner's life till now has had: 1. 10 years of drug abuse 2. 2 failed suicide attempts causing loss of limbs 5. excellent education until college Place of birth: 22:30N , 78:30E Time: 4:00 AM 30 Nov. 1973 owner wishes to maintain anonymity and hence will avoid use of the personal pronouns. not much left to the "I" in him/her. can the jupiters in this group lighten this native on the future calamities or deathly exp. in his/her life? no sarcasm intended, but death denied twice does odd things to one's optimism. Guest guest
Forgive this rather tardy response to March 3rd post. I have little experience with 'loss of limbs' so I was curious to see this chart. The first thing to leap out was something quite different though. A relatively unusual yoga caught my attention some time ago: if Mars is in a kendra from Mercury and the Moon is with Venus, the person will be engaged in research on ancient branches/ matters (Suka Nadi, Ch 4, v 184). I have only found this yoga in a few other charts, the Dalai Lama being one. Has this experience/ interest become evident in this person's life as yet? With regard to the obvious turmoil this person has felt (multiple suicide attempts etc) - might this be related to the saraswati yoga from both birth lagna and chandra? ie artistic temperament/ insight thwarted by obstacles. Shani with Ketu would not be helpful. The original post also mentioned 10 years of drug abuse which I initially interpreted as narcotic addiction; when I looked at the chart however, this did not seem to be so. (Again, my experience here is limited.) Dissipation, wildness, etc etc but this one does not look like 'simple' addiction to me. Please correct me if I am wrong. In the interim, I shall assume general excess. In this case, I think that the gaja kesari may contribute. Though a gk is generally associated with virtue etc, its downside may be that the confidence it bestows, contorts into a misguided belief in one's own indestructibility. Timing issues have also probably contributed to this person's difficulties - around 1990/91, Rahu transitted natal Moon and other fourth house placements, coinciding with sadhe sati. It was at a difficult age - the late teens, and also coincided with RK return plus the onset of Rahu dasa in vimshottari system. As ever with life, one thing leads to another and one can get caught in a momentum. Complications in the family may also have contributed to some of the later events. Let us not to think of this person as a "hopeless case" - day to day dramas can make it look that way but the world is immeasurably richer for those who have battled their demons. Sometimes only because they give us a (negative) example and other times because they transform their demons into creatures of light, thereby showing us just how much is possible. All the best, Kriya
