In four years time, Jayalalithaa will become PM '

Noted astrologer Kaliyur Narayanan, who is widely believed to be the

personal astrologer of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, believes that

the date and time chosen for Jayalalithaa's swearing in is very auspicious

and would take her to great political heights.

Narayanan predicts that the AIADMK supremo would become Prime Minister of

the country in four years. He said the time chosen for the swearing in

ceremony, 10.50 am, on March 2, after 'rahukalam' , is most auspicious for

'rajyabaram' (kingship).

The venue, Madras University's Centenary Hall, located close to the sea and

east facing, is the right choice, he said.

It is now almost certain that the delay in swearing in Jayalalithaa as Chief

Minister of Tamil Nadu was due to astrological reasons.

Jaylalithaa, who was declared elected from Andipatti by a thumping margin of

more than 40000 votes over her nearest DMK rival Vaigai Sekar on February

24, was sworn in as CM the Madras University Centenary Hall.

The unusual delay between her victory and swearing in triggered speculations

that the ceremony had been postponed on the advice of Jayalalithaa's

astrologers.

"Jayalalithaa has a great political future ahead of her," says Narayanan,

who however refutes reports that he is Amma's personal astrologer.

He says such an impression has been created since he does regular astrology

programmes on Jaya TV.

According to Narayanan, Jayalalithaa would have a glorious ruling

opportunity since 'Surya' and 'Sukra' are in the 'rajyasthana'.

"In four years time she will become the Prime Minister of our country or a

kingmaker like Kamaraj. She is poised to make the J-Plan (like the famous

Kamaraj Plan) for our country in a very short time, creating history in the

Indian political arena", says Narayanan.

Narayanan claims that he rightly predicted the peace accord that was signed

recently between the Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickemesinghe and the

LTTE chief V Prabakaran and several other political events.

According to astrologers, Jayalalithaa avoided being sworn in on February

27, her birthday as per Tamil calendar, because she considers it

inauspicious for her, ever since the tragedy at Kumbakonam that claimed

several lives many years ago.

During her first term in office, Jayalalithaa along with her close friend

visited the temple in Kumbakonam for a holy dip in the temple tank on the

special occasion of 'Mahamagam'.

The event ended up in a tragedy after many people lost their lives in

stampede that reportedly when the crowds surged to catch a glimpse of the

two taking the holy dip.
