Guest guest
Jai Shree Hari Respected List Members, Can someone please tell me which ayanamsa - a true(is non-linear) ayanamsa or a mean(is linear)ayanamsa, is appropriate? For Moon's nodes mean values have been recommended by Sanjayji. Does the same rule apply to sun's nodes too. I have looked at various siddhantas (Surya and Pancha mainly); I could only find procedures for calculating mean ayanamsa in them. Does it imply that mean ayanamsas are recommended? Guest guest
om gurave namah ------------------------ Dear Hemang Mean ayanamsa are not recommended. They are used for convenience as exact is yet to be deciphered. For example, all ayanamsa use the standard change of 50 seconds per year which is wrong. So many things have to be done.
