In finding my ishta mantra, I am following the steps given by you in accordance

with the directives given by our respected and beloved Gurudev Pt. Sanjayji.

 

1. Mercury alone is placed in the 12th house(Scorpio, the 6th house in D-9) from

my AK mars in the Navamsa . So, mercury, the lord of navamsa lagna( Gemini), is

my ishta devata.

 

2.As mercury is situated in the 2nd drekkana in rasi chart, my ista is Sri Krishna.

 

3.Mercury is situated in the 6th house in pisces. So My ishta mantra will be

krishna-mantra with 6 akshara.

 

4.Let us take a mantra with 6 akshara-

KLIM KRISHNAYA NAMAH

and find out whether this mantra suits me or not.

5.ANY MANTRA OF SRI KRISHNA CAN BE USED FOR JAPAM WITHUOT TESTING THE

SUITABILITY. I am doing this as an exercise to let you see whether my

understanding is correct or not.

Hare Rama Krishna

Dear Visti,

 

Thank you for your kind guidance. Then , my ista mantra is

'HARE RAMA KRISHNA'.

 

As both my ista devata & palana devata ( mercury & sun respectively) are

situated in the 6th house, the mantra for palana devata is also a mantra with 6

akshara. My ista mantra is also containing the name of RAMA- my palana devata.

Can I conclude that the HARE RAMA KRISHNA mantra is also the mantra for my

palana devata? That means, if I do japa of HARE RAMA KRISHNA mantra, both my

ista devata and palana devata will shower grace on me?

 

Please guide me.
