Guest guest
Om Dear Sanjayji, Narasimha, Visti and others, The count of number of positions of a planet in its moolatrikona or own rasi or its rasi of exaltation in the different Divisional charts is an indication of the "amsa" of the planet for the person. The higher the number the stronger the planet is for the individual. 1)Does Vargottama position of a planet in the various Divisional charts also carry proportionate strength/influence with the number of Divisional charts where the Vargottama position occurs? For example, For a Sagittarius ascendant, Jupiter in the 5th House Aries at 0Ar55 position in Rasi(D1) will be at Vargottama in D2(Parivritti-Dwaya), D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D12, D16, D27, and D30. (First few degrees of Aries carries a unique position in the zodiac as any planet positioned here will be in Vargottama in several Divisional Charts !) 2)If a planet is a functional malefic for the ascendant what will be the influence of such Vargottama placements, say if the ascendant in the above example was Taurus instead of Sagittarius? Thank you in advance. Ashwin Om.
Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah -------------- Dear Ashwin, Vargottama placement shows that, whatever traits the graha carries, will be unavoidable. Then you have to figure out whether its good or bad. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ----------------------- Dear Srinagesh, Don't think too much about Bhava Lagna for now, it has other purposes than simple predictive astrology. Use standard principles to figure out whether the graha is favorable or not. Check its placement from Lagna, Arudha Lagna, see its sign, etc. Best wishes, Visti. - vankateshwara srinagesh vedic astrology Friday, April 26, 2002 2:01 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Vargottama in Divisional Charts Dear Visti Pls clarify ,is it in Bhava Lagna the vargottama of a Graha is properly seen Best Regards Srinagesh Visti Larsen <vishnu (AT) lbq (DOT) dk> wrote: Vyam Vysadevaya Namah -------------- Dear Ashwin, Vargottama placement shows that, whatever traits the graha carries, will be unavoidable.
