ADMIN: Advertising Here (Why we have been betrayed ?)

Dear Sanjay and friends,

 

The person in question here (Bhadra Dasi) was warned in the past,

privately by me, to not use the forum for advertizing her services.

 

Her writings clearly show half-baked knowledge and a blatant

eagerness to market her services. If a frequent contributor who

contributes genuine stuff to the list advertises a service or

something occasionally, I am willing to overlook it. But, if one

posts only advertisements and tries to exploit gullible people, I

cannot overlook it. Bhadra Dasi is being removed from the list

(exactly as she was warned before).

 

Members should try to stick to Vedic astrology. I am willing to

tolerate non-Vedic discussion also, as long as the intentions are

good and the tone is scholarly (i.e. not commercial). If one abuses

Sanskrit names and Vedic astrology terms for a commercial purpose and

starts blatantly advertising a service, like Bhadra Dasi did on a

periodic basis, they will have to leave the list. You are warned.

PS: After a majority of the members get the May issue of

SJVC's "Jyotish Digest" magazine and read the first article in the

series on "Tithi Pravesha: Annual Horoscopy of Jyotish", we can start

discussing TP on this list. It has been a secret technique until now

and I was prohibited from discussing it publicly. Now that the secret

is out, we can discuss the amazing technique! In addition to the

examples given in the JD series, we can examine some more examples on

this list. I look forward to that.
