Guest guest Posted May 27, 2002 Report Share Posted May 27, 2002 Hello there Nimmi Ragavan, Thanks a lot for your light to my Horoscope, Well i started my Oracle around October last year and i concentrated a lot in my Oracle 9i and Oracle DBA and iam planning to take my DBA exams one by one from this july through Microsoft Certifications. Should i go for a MBA, Architecture or DBA exams ??????????....... well yes there are a lot of planets in my 2nd House of (wealth, family, speach......so on)does that meen that my Carrier is towards finance. I had plans to do my MBA as masters specilizing in systems or finance but i havent taken any steps to that. Is me study in Oracle is wast of time should i be doing MBA? Does the Jupiter Aspect to my delitated Mars, Venus and Mercury in the Navamsha Chart nullifes the effect of their Neecha Guna is there a Neecha Banga raga Yoga formed there too as it has happned to my venus in Rashi Chart ..... what does this meens "a fall - a rise - a fall - a rise" in my life or it is a "Rayoga Banga" is there any thing to be done on this any pooja or any stole should i be waering and the "Kalasarpa Dosha/Yoga" i had been once to Sri Kalahasthi and i did my Kalasarpa Nivarana Pooja too. Guest guest Posted May 29, 2002 Report Share Posted May 29, 2002 Hi SriRam, If you had plans for an MBA in finance (I thought your first degree was in Architecture? A bit of a jump?) then that would indicate you already have an interest in this area. I know it is hard to consider taking a loan to do your degree. I was lucky enough to be given a full tutorship when I did my masters degree. Also, there were no fees then for local or foreign students. Things are much harder now. Have you asked the universities overseas whether they any tutorships or studentships available that you could apply for? A lot would depend on the institution where you did your first degree and your grades. The problem is that you will have to work in one department and study in another. Departments dont like that because then their budget is not getting the money for your postgrad study. How come you did architecture if you are not interested in pursuing it? Can't you work for an architectural firm instead of setting up your own office straightaway? Aren't there areas of finance within the architectural field itself that you could pursue? I would imagine that large architectural projects must require their own financial project management. I remember a friend of mine, a structural engineer, who spent most of his first years of work negotiating contracts.
