Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna. Jaya Jagannath! I have a question in regard to janma vighati graha. We know the planet in the 2nd house from the rasi lagna in sastiamsa chart becomes the janma vighati graha. If the house is empty then it will be the lord of that house. E.g. if lagna is Cancer, then the planet in Leo in Sastiamsa chart will be the janma vighati graha. If empty, then it will be Sun. Now some doubt comes up to me: what in the case of the nodes? E.g. if Rahu is in Leo in Sastiamsa in the above example, will Rahu be the janma vighati graha? Or if Rahu is in Gemini, it will be janma vighati graha? It's funny, I have a chart with exact timing where Rahu will be in Leo or in Gemini whether one uses true or mean nodes, with a Cancer lagna in rasi. So here we can check which one is correct. What in case of Ketu? Though Ketu is also counted as a janma vighati graha, how can Ketu cause birth when it is the moksha karaka? Please enlighten me. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ----------------------- Dear Dhira, This isn't the Janma Vighati Graha. The Janma Vighati Graha, changes every Vighati(24 seconds) and is found using the amount of vighatis passed since sunrise/sunset. Do the calculations, and find that using your given criteria, many people should share the sex during an entire day. Jaimini states that there can be 9 Vighati Grahas. Of these Ketu is female and Rahu is male by nature. Again if they are exalted, male dominance is indicated.
