Guest guest
Respected gurus: There is considerable confusion on whether a planet in infancy (0 to 5 degrees in rashi) overrides its infancy if it is vargottama in navamsa. generally it is said that infant planet is very week and is not capable of expressing itself fully during its period. But on the other hand if such a planet is vargottama, and is otherwise well placed (i.e., not debilitated or functional melefic), it gains additional strength by virtue of its being in vargottama. If that is the case, then can such a planet's significations be manifest during that planet's dasa despite its weekness on account of extreme infancy. Also, what about the effect of rashi sandhi in such a case? Could learned gurus shed some light on this? thanks and regards, AjitMSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: Click Here

Thus the rules of linear addittion and subtraction cannot be applied. Thus infancy will get nutrilised by the vargottam can not be deduced. Both are different dimension of planetary behaviour. Guest guest
Thnaks Rajesh, for clarifying the issue. Visti's reply earlier is also on the same lines. But one small issue: some planets even in their infancy are considered strong (e.g., I have learnt that sun in the initial degrees of a rashi is always strong). So how do we reconcile this apparent contradiction? Any take on it? I shall be grateful if you and Visti could put it in perspective. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ------------------- Dear Ajit, But we allready answered your question. You must be talking about The first Navamsa of Fiery signs and last Navamsa of Watery signs. These positions are called Rasi Sandhya, and have todo with the nakshetras. These positions can be very deadly. Best wishes, Visti. - Ajit Mittal vedic astrology Tuesday, June 04, 2002 11:29 AM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: Extreme infancy and Vargottama Thnaks Rajesh, for clarifying the issue.
