Effects of malefic(?) debilitated Moon in 10th

I have a waxing moon debilitated in the 10th in Scorpio. In Dasamsa,

it is in Aquarius in the 10th. Now in such a moon's dasa,

will I not have a stable career? Will I suffer a reduction in income

and professional status?

Currently I am doing quite well professionally.I will be losing my

job in a few months. I am not sure what to expect. Considering that I

am in the beginning of an age group range that is "ripe for layoffs",

I think of going on my own (business). Wonder how that may pan out.

What I can forsee...need everybody to correct me if I am wrong.

Moon dasa will give you unexpected sudden change...maybe not for the

better. Moon is a significator of mother and also aspecting the

house of mother may bring health problems to her. Yes state of mind

won't be good. But to say you will suddenlly be jobless and will have

nothing in hand will be difficult. One needs to know the sub dasa

also. To tell you if u can start ur own business also depends on many

other factors.

I have asked this question on different occasions. I only get very

rudimentary replies which end with "much depends on other factors"

or "to analyze the effects is a different matter"

Can someone kindly answer the question to the point without answering

in riddles? I do see other charts being analyzed deeply. Maybe this

is a difficult one.

What I can forsee...need everybody to correct me if I am wrong.

Moon dasa will give you unexpected sudden change...maybe not for the

better. Moon is a significator of mother and also aspecting the

house of mother may bring health problems to her. Yes state of mind

won't be good. But to say you will suddenlly be jobless and will have

nothing in hand will be difficult. One needs to know the sub dasa

also. To tell you if u can start ur own business also depends on many

other factors.

Did you enclose your birth information originally? I looked back, & saw

one original message, but it didn't give your birth data.

If you are running Vimsottari dasa of Moon, it would show alot of change,

but since Moon is lord of an uppachaya house (6th) we could hope that

things would gradually change for the better during the dasa.

However, we need to have the information to see more about your Moon in

order to make an intelligent prediction about what will happen. What

yogas is it involved in? How far away from your arudha lagna is it?

What is its exact degree & minute? We should know more about the

condition of your Moon, for example is the debilitation cancelled? Where

is Mars? What other planets are aspecting your Moon for better or worse?

When did your Moon mahadasa begin & what antardasa are you running now?

This is only scratching the surface. So please email the date time &

Dear swamy,

6th Lord in 10, denotes enemies at your work. But it is

debilitated (no neecha banga). Showing they will be defeated (this

was already commented about by Sanjaiji in one of his mails regarding

your chart).

Moon is with Jupiter in the second from Navamsa, hence

this is sure to happen.

Moon is also in the 12th from AL, but since it is

debilitated the enemies will not do much harm to your status.

However moon is also your AK and significator of Mana.

The atma and Mana are disturbed. This agitation will make you more

spiritual .

Moon is in the 10th in Dasama and is in parivartana with

Rahu. Parivartana with Rahu is not good for moon. There will be

disturbances / changes in career during moon dasa.

I just wanted to throw in a few observations about the moon:

1. The moon has 6 points in its own ashtakvarga in the 10th house

2. The moon is with Jupiter in Navamsa. It is also generally well

placed in vargas.

3. The moon has good shadbala

4. The moon has paksha bala

5. The moon is Waxing

All of the above go in favor.

The things that are against are:

1. The moon is the "evil" sixth lord

2. The moon is debilitated.(Although he is 20 degrees away from his

point of debilitation)

3. The moon is atmakaraka.

If as atmakaraka it is supposed to make me more spiritual, I wonder

what it is going to do for me. I am not all that spiritual, but I go

to the temples occasionally, pray to the almighty that I be shown the

right direction, make donations when I can. I am not certainly the

roundest and whitest pearl in the ocean, but I try to be honest as

much as I can.

Initially, after looking at this forum and the others, I tried to

steer my mind towards praying to god etc. It caused a lot of mental

tension. I could not get off the thoughts that I will be "PUNISHED"

by the atmakaraka for my "EVIL DEEDS" in a previous birth. This

thought process was unhealthy for me.

So, I have pushed these thoughts aside. When i reflect upon my life,

I realize that mental tension has been caused because I am trying to

live up to a standard that has been created by others: my parents,

siblings, and society in general. Some of my Cause-->effect beliefs

are learned from others (For example, if I do not study, i will

become a busboy. This is what my brother used to say) Some of them

cause extreme tension. The tension is about:

1. Money: Acquiring and fear of losing. The fears are quite deep

rooted, thanks to a value system that I am not proud of.

2. Position: Acquiring and fear of losing, whether it be academic or

professional. The fears are quite deep rooted and acquired from

growing up. My society told me that good grades= Good boy and

Executive=Good whereas Clerk= Average.

3. About People. Such as Taking care of my Mother: She is mentally

ill.

I am training myself to get rid of such fears(Extremely Difficult),

without saying any mantras or otherwise. Because, certain things are

not in our control (This bothers me many a time). We can only put an

effort. The problems are not going to go away if I chant some mantras

nor will they be mitigated. The impact of these problems will only be

less if I chose not to feel it much, by accepting them as

my "package".(I am trying hard to do this)

Notwithstanding, I would like to know what to expect. I believe in

astrology to a large extent. I can accept my fate, but for my

attachment to the family that I have created. They do not deserve any

adverse impact because of my KARMA.
