I wish to know 2 things: Firstly if a person has malefic combinations (with ref to his/her marriage)like ..lord of UL & A7 in Rasi or debilitated 7th lord in UL etc...then should he or she marry a person with the same combinations to nullify the effect or nothing can be done about it. Secondly if a woman has malefic combinations in her life , are they altered in some way if she marries to a person with a strong horoscope. Advise them to fast on days of their Upapada to cleanse their marriage of ailments. Infact that analogy is not advocated with related to Arudha Pada theory. As far as matching the horoscopes are concened, Gurudeva Pt. Sanjay Rath has enumerated method called as Karma matching. This method lays much emphasis on Aruda padas, especially, UL and Acendant. As far as afflictions to marriage part is concerned, there are remedial measures which can be adopted to mitigate problems. The effectiveness of remedial measures differs depending on the strength of the trines in the chart. In Indian tradition it has been practice to consider Husband as the leader of the family. Traditional Astrologers always opine that bad combination in afemale's chart affects the spouse. Now if Husband has got very good Raja yogas, materially that should benefit the wife. An experte Astrologer can see all in one chart.
