Well, I have not got any replies from the Gurujis on this List except from S. Purushothamanji and I shall post Purushothamanji comments & delineation on this List later. I am not too sure whether I have asked a right or a wrong question. Or for that matter such questions should or can be asked in the first place. Are answers to such questions out of the scope of Vedic astrology, am I right or wrong? I thought I would give this lady my reading after me getting the response from Sanjayji, Narasimhaji and Gaurangaji. This chart was difficult for me and since she wanted to know if I could determine her PAST correctly. More so, because the questions she has asked are supposed to be very critical and utmost important to her. Right now, I am still stuck with the chart of this lady who had asked me the two questions and I am unable to make head or tail of it. I would be deeply grateful if the Gurujis on the List, especially Sanjayji, Narasimhaji, Gaurangaji and responded with answers on this matter soon. I am actually seeking your timely response. Yet i will attempt the quiz. The marital age is usually 18+. This may depend on whether the marriage is fixed or not. Upapada has Darapada and Arudha Lagna, which supports a relationship before marriage, hence no doubt marriage should happen atleast after the age of 18. Now... Rahu Dasa starts in her 17th year, and has been running since then, so if any Dasa will bring marriage, then Rahu will. Now, lets see the 7th house; Aries. It has Chara Darakaraka Jupiter in Rasi Sandhya, and retrogade. This is an unfortunate situation and creates sudden changes in marriage. This is unremovable due to the Vargottma position of Jupiter, whilst also placed in the 12th from Lagnamsa. 7th lord; Mars is placed in 8th house with Ketu, whilst recieving the Rasi Dristi of Saturn. This is very bad for the health of the spouse. If any marriage happens it will end very quickly and abruptly. Lets check Upapada, to be sure; Upapada is in Gemini, the 9th house. Hence Marriage may give some fortune along with it. Lord of Upapada is Mercury and is Exalted.. No doubt an early marriage, may give great riches due to the spouses family. However Mercury is also placed in the 12th house, and this being with Moon the lord of the 2nd from Upapada. This may show the end of marriage, and likely death of the spouse. This is confirmed by Saturn in Cancer, the 2nd from Upapada, recieving the Rasi Dristi by Mars, Ketu and Rahu. Now note.. Rahu also gives Graha Dristi on Saturn in Cancer. No doubt from the above, we can confirm that if any marriage happens, it will end abruptly. Rahu will desire to give this end of marriage, and hence instead of marriage being an auspicious happening, Rahu is giving marriage, only to end it again! Likely the Marriage started and ended in the same Dasa.. i.e. Rahu will give marriage, only desiring to end it again! The 11th from Rahu acts as Bodhak for Rahu, and hence any planets placed so, will help Rahu achieve its desire. Mercury is placed there, in both Rasi and Navamsa. Mercury is lord of Upapada, and is placed in the 12th house, hence is ripe for giving marriage. Mercury being lord of the Upapada, will not defeat itself in the same PratyAntar Dasa, instead Moon Pachak for Mercury, may give the event. Acording to SatyaAcharya, one should analyse the Karaka for the relation between Dasa/antar, to determine the results of the events being auspicious/inauspicious. Mercury is in the 11th from Rahu, and the Karaka of 11th is Jupiter, who is placed is ill placed in Rasi Sandhya, whilst Vargottama. Mercury and Moon are in the same rasi, and the Karaka of 1st house is Sun, who is recieving Raj-Bhanga Yoga due to debilitation in Navamsa. Hence in Rahu-Mercury-Moon Dasa, she may have married and ended the marriage the same day. This happened in January 2002. Now go ask her if this is so!! Jai Jai Gurudev!!!
