Visti: Retro Saturn in 6th for Capri Asc

Dear Visti and List,

First of all let me introduce to the group. I am a software engineer

working in NY. Astrology has grown to a passion from a hobby. I am a

student of Astrology and please pardon my doubts if they are stupid.

My question is :

What would be the effects of Saturn which is retro, placed in the 6th

house (house of enemies and diseases) and aspecting the twelfth

house, which has Sun, Venus and Mercury. I presume this is a raja

yoga, but what happens if Mercury is combusted?

I also have observed in the Bhava chart,that Sun moved to 11th house.

Should I consider the bhava chart or the rasi chart?

Will the subject suffer from skin and venereal diseases as Saturn is

aspecting Venus?

He has Jupiter in Second, Moon and ketu in 5th, Mars and Rahu in 11th.

The subject was beaten up by some unknown guys recently and is in a

depression. Is it also because of Saturn in the 6th house?

Any help is highly appreciated and would help build his morale.

Dear Pavan,

Some fine questions.

Retrogade planets tend to reverse the effects of the bhava, so if in the 2nd,

they may deny food, and in the 7th they could deny marriage. In case of benefics

this is just a delay.

As for Bhava Chakra, do you calculate it from Bhava Lagna or Lagna? The former

is supported by Parasara, and has very little say in the persons actual events

in life.

Please give the entire chart, so that we can conclude the reasons behind the

events.

Dear Pavan,

His Lagna Lord retrogade in the 6th house, shows a great focus on the 12th

house. It shows that he may be surrounded by secret enemies, be sickly and often

fatigued. As Mercury the dispositor of Saturn is also placed in the 12th house,

it shows that his own actions attract many people conspiring behind his back.

The Arudha Pada of the 6th house, shows ones enemies. A6 falls in the sign of

Pisces, in the 3rd house. The Rahu and Mars in the 9th from A6, shows the lagna

of his enemies, as predominantly fiery lagnsa(aries and scorpio) with

Rahu-afflictions to the same. The Arudha of the 7th house shows ones business

partners, and as A7 also falls in Pisces, theres no doubt that these same

partners are the cause of his misfortune!!

Lord of A7 and A6, is Jupiter who falls in the 2nd house.. This is a Maraka

position, and his partners may try to hurt him!

In Navamsa Jupiter is strong in Pisces, but in the 8th house, hence an

unfortunate event was in the making. Further Jupiter and Mercury are in the 6th

house in the Shasthamsa(D-6) confirming the event. You can check D-30 for more.

The unfortunate happened during the current Jupiter Dasa, the rest is history.

As a result he is in fear of his inviroment, indicated by Saturns Retrogade.

Heres a good remedy; "Om Namah Shivaya", he will be back to normal in not time.

Dear Visti,

Thanks for the enlightenment.

But, it lead to some more questions. When Retrogade planets tend to

reverse the effects of the bhava, should he not attain victory over

his enemies? Or probably cancel the effects?

Moreover, the recent incident was a minor one, though he is very

depressed. He was beaten up by two guys and he was hurt at a couple

of places. He has recovered. I was in an impression that this is an

effect of Sade Sathi, as Saturn is passing his moon lagna(Taurus) and

very near (or passing through) his birth star, mrigasira.

So, should he be expecting any big unfortunate event in the coming

years (Jupiter dasa is till 2012) or as he is running Jupiter-mercury

dasa till September 2003, should we expect it by then? or after his

marriage as this is indicated from his navamsa chart?

Kindly pardon me if these questions are silly. I am also attaching

the D-30 chart for your kind reference.

Normally Lagna lord in the 6th, gives victory over enemies.

Visti: Yes Jupiter is still a benefic. If it kills it won't be through

violence.

Similarly see grahas in the nakshetras of Venus and Sun. Mercury is in Venus'

nakshetra, hence verbal arguments, will be experienced then.

The exact Pratyantar Dasa for when these will be experienced takes some strong

understanding of the inter-relations between grahas, and Pachakadi Sambhanda

should be studied in detail.

Dear Visti,

I'm sorry for intervention. The questions about Sa transit are very interest for

me as well.

I have Sa in 11 own house (0:33:34 Kumbha) with Sk. Ch is in House 6th. Now I

have Sa transit in

2nd house. I've had so terrible 7.5 years during Sa transit (12, 1 and 2 house

from Lagna). After

5 years "relax" I will have 7.5 years transit of Sa trough 12, 1 and 2 houses

from Ch, then 2.5

through 8 house of Lagna, 9 house - "relax" and again 10 house and then Sa

transit through 6 house

of Ch.

As I understand, from 12*2.5=30 years Sa transit I have only 3,4 and 9 house

from La (7.5 years

totally), when I will have no Sa influence. Is it correct?

Does it means, I've done many mistakes in my previous lives? Is it possible to

recognize, which

mistakes did I do in my past lives?

Slight misunderstanding. When Sani transits Lagna, it will punish you instantly

for the mistakes you make in this life.

This is quite fortunate actually as the mistakes aren't postponed until the next

life, but are punished instantly.

Other inferences related to past life Karma, must be saught through Dasa's, and

the chart at hand.

All past life Karma is seen in the Shastyamsa(D-60). Prarabdha Karma is seen in

the Navamsa.

If we have Sa transits related to Moon (6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 1st House to

Moon). Is it for the mistakes in this life too?

Is it correct, that Sa transits Lagna give problems with body and external

life problems, but when Sa transits Moon give the same problems, but for

spiritual or internal life?

The rest show Sanchita Karma.

The Dridha, Dridha-Adridha and Adridha karmas, which come under Prarabdha Karma

are seen from the Fixed, Dual and Movable Navamsas respectively.

At birth(or conception) all prarabdha karma is anarabdha(uncommenced).
