Respected Sirs,

I am Sudarsan and a new member to this group. I recently got

interested and astrology and i am very much interested in it.

I have a few doutbs, and wil be grateful for your help in them.

1) Divisional Charts:

a)

I have read from this group that divisional chars are very important.

I read that the planet strenght should be viewed in navamsa?.

Does this mean that a "planet" be viewed in all the varga charts

(or) is it enough to view in the rasi and navamsa alone?.

Does looking into the vimposak bal of a planet tell this for us?.

i.e, just by looking into vimposak bal can we say that a planet is

in such a strength, weak etc..

b)

What does "shadbal" represent?. It is said that when two planets

conjoin to give a yoga or influence a house shadbal specifies us

which one will be the leader. Does shadbal calculation take into

account all the varga charts?.

Please clarify.

2)

I have a small doubt regarding kshuditavastha specified in BPHS.

In the net i have seen something like this for kshuditavastha

Version 1:

----------

"

Kshudithavasta- a planet in an enemy sign, aspected by an enemy or in

conjunction with shani. "

whereas

in some other versions i have seen like this

Version 2:

------------

Kshudithavasta- a planet in an enemy sign, conjunction with enemy,

aspected by an enemy or in conjunction with shani.

Which of the above versions are true?.

3) If sun and mercury are together in a house and assume that no

planets aspect them

can we say that

a) sun is conjunct with an enemy and mercury is conjunct with a

neutra.

This is because for SUN mercury is neutral and as per tatkalika

shatru principle, mercury is an enemy to sun.

But for mercury SUN is afriend and as per tatkalika shatru principle,

mercury is now an neutral to sun.

Is the above understanding correct?.

4) In a chart asc is virgo with mars in it.

sun and mercury are in 2nd house (libra). (sun is debilitated)

venus is in the 12th house from lagna

saturn in 9th house (retrogression)

jupiter and rahu in 4th house

ketu in 10th house.

Moon in 8th house.

Does this qualify for a neecha banga raja yoga.

a) Sun is debilitated in libra.

b) Sun gets exalted in aries.

c) mars is the ruler of aries

d) he is in the lagna which is in an angle from ascendant.

I will be grateful for your help. Some of my quesitons will be naive

i guess. I expect help from the gurus to make me understand the

subject better.

Thanks

Sudarsan
