VISHNU SAHASRANAAM and Some astrology related general thoughts

related to current recession , unemployment and suffering in

USA/worldwide:

 

(…. It was hard for me to see so many repeated emails related to

retrograde, exhalted , debilitated planets and in which people are

getting / appear desperate to get a quick solution…sorry for the

typos..)

 

 

 

Well I found that several individuals ,including myself, are looking

for jobs/job changes currently or are going through other mental

tensions in their personal and professional lives

alternatively/simultaneously. The objective of this email is to

express some astrology related thoughts and also offer some personal

comfort to all suffering souls, including myself. First of all, I

think that while there are no easy solutions or One Size Fits All

multi-dimensional solution which can make all happy and every

horoscope definitely needs detailed investigation… yet there some

simple basic things , which appear to be missing from our thoughts,

in the process of trying to acquire all material and financial

comforts immediately or as soon as possible.

 

I think most people might have understood the objective of my email

by now…In short we all must execute our Karma regardless of the

fact

we have NeechBhanga yogas, Rajyogas, or the absence of these yogas or

whether the planets are exhalted or debilitated and retrograde or

not retrograde etc etc

 

All that astrology can do is to help us investigate various aspects

of our lives using various Dasha Systems..Vimshottari Dasha System,

Narayana Dasha System etc., co-relations between different dasha

systems… since our Karma is always under our control to

some/large

extent, we have no choice but to execute our Karma…Even with the

best

combinations of planets and yogas , karma has to be executed under

all circumstances to reach the results of our actions. This is also

explained on SJVC website…"even Lord Krishna had to motivate

Arjuna

as 6th Lord /6th house's actions are under our control, just like

11th house and the 3rd house"…Destiny is fixed and it can also

be

changed through our karma/can be controlled to some extent…

 

I know several individuals like myself who are in search of better

jobs/new jobs or searching jobs like myself and are under extreme

financial pressures will not be satisfied with this email or such

solutions…As I said earlier they will definitely need

consultation

etc., Finally here are some mantras from Vishnu Sahasarnama, which

can be sung by anyone…I got them from Star teller magazine.. I

have

been reciting them three times daily for last 6 months and they have

given me lot of mental peace and motivation , if nothing else so

far…. we(all suffering souls, who are suffering financially,

emotionally, health wise etc) can chant these mantras safely and

execute our karma…at least we can get some mental satisfaction

that

we tried our level best under adverse circumstances and may these

mantras give peace and prosperity to all of us.

Chandan,

Thanks for the correction. I was under the impression for a long time

that Sahasranaam stands for 100 names and thought that 50 names or so

given in the magazine article are most critical names which can help

all of us(i.e., those who are not experts in Mantra Shastra etc)

achieve our general and materialistic objectives of day to day life.

 

After all it requires 40,000 to 100,000 or bigger numbers to be

chanted within 40 days for various other mantras of various planets

and some of them can take one to Death/Destruction/Moksha instead of

material benefits/success, if the , mantra does not synchronize with

the name of the person as per various books and all such mantras must

be chanted with extreme concentration etc.,

 

Chanting the names of Lord Vishnu are most harmless and multi purpose

mantras for all as per my current knowledge ...after all what is the

logic behind chanting thousands of mantras...we are requesting the

planet to change its effects ..in other words we are trying to

control the effects of the current period by tapasya, which of

course is not no easy by any means...May be that's another

controversial topic..
