Dear sir,

Learned members please correct me if I am wrong, but per BV Raman's

methods, Asc lord is indeed a functional benefic. I would not like to

comment on Saturn since I have not seen the other details of the

chart. So in your case that makes Mars a functional benefic. BTw, my

Asc lord (Scorpio) is Mars too.

I would leave the gems and other details to more qualified members to

comment on.

Dear Desai,

 

Despite having a very strong 6th house with 35 bindus in

Ashtakavarga, you will notice that Mars itself is just giving 0

points to the 6th house.

Shani started transitting your 6th house or Aries about 5 years back.

Now at that time you were running Mars/Mars and then followed by

Mars/Rahu antar dasa in vimshottari dasa. Rahu represents Mars with

3 bindus and Venus with 5 bindus. Mars is in 11th house and

aspecting 7th and 2nd house thereby reducing the effects of the

same. Distance between Sun and Venus is greater than 43 degrees

thereby spoiling Venus which is natural karak for marriage. If you

were married during antra of Mars/Mars or Mars/Rahu the marriage

would revert during Guru or Shani's antra, my take would be in Shani

antra and if you were marriage again in Ketu's antra then marriage

would have reverted in Venus antra.

 

Another observation, your 11th house has less points than 12th house

from lagna which could be an indication that your expenses are more

than your income

Dear Desai,

 

My lagna is also scorpio with Mars the lagna lord in Virgo in 11th

house. Though i do not run Mars Dasa i still had the same kind of

effect from 1999, divorces and huge losses in stock market.

Dear Desai,

 

Yes you are correct, I am sorry that in haste I wrote 7th house

instead of 6th.

In 1999 Shani was transitting your 6th house with Mars giving 0

points. Mars is ruling your 6th house and lagna and thereby you

would not get any assistance from matters relating to thouse houses.

 

When I am using Ashtakavarga, when Mars rules lagna and 6th house

then Mars will not be harmful for lagna meaning health. I guess the

Maharhishis when they spoke of Malefics or benefics they must have

spoken regarding Lagna or Health of person.. as the saying goes..

Health is Wealth....

So Mars ruling 6th hosue is upchaya for lagna and will not do harm,

but for Scorpio ascendent it also gives the native powers to overcome

enemies. In your case Mars gets 25 points for lagna hence it will

not do harm. Similarly Mars will not be malefic for 4th house

matters as its upchaya for 4th house being 10th from 4th house,

similarly it will not do harm for 9th house either being 10th from

3rd house.

 

Mars is a natural malefic and distributs just 39 bindus in its Bhina-

ashtakavarga and so does saturn. Mars generally has low AV bindus,

like in your case Mars is in 11th house with 3 points, but taking on

6th house significance with low bindus it will cause troubles for

income or reduce it as it has 3 bindus. Plus you have more points in

12th as compared to 11th thereby making your expenses higher than

income.

 

I would say wait for Mars/Moon or basically Mars's mahadasa to end.

Moon is natural samdharmi to Mars and can come forward to give its

results.

 

I do not know much about remedies rather nothing, more learned Gurus

can suggest you what to do

Dear Desai,

Looking at your chart also from Chara Karakas, One more thing, Mars

in your chart is Atmakarak and being placed in 11th house. Generally

the Atmakaraks Mahadasa cleans the sins of your past life thereby

causing sufferings but on the same time it will also protect you.

Malefics becoming AK will teach that lesson with more intensity or

with a stronger whip.

Now AK in 11th house can also make you a very good astrologer
