Guest guest
Vyam Vyasadevaya Namah Dear AM, Continuing on the retrogression discussion, you said"The area of life affected will be indicated by the lordship of the graha. The means through which these areas will be affected is seen from the grahas natural karakatwa"Now for a planet like Jupiter, who is a ntural karaka for so many things like philosophy, awareness, finances, children, Guru etc.How to decide which of th karakatwa is affected? Should we consider divisional chart placements for the nature of afflictions or aspects and placements in rasi chars alone? Visti: Divisional charts offcourse. Shastyamsa gives the final clue. In my chart, jupiter is in cancer, retrograde in the 9th aspected by sun and mercury by graha aspect and venus by rasi aspect. Should I consider these planet's relationships with jupiter to understand my area of affliction or if these planets are malefics with respect to my lagna (scorpio), to deduce the area of affliction. Visti: Retrogade isn't an affliction. There is a delay(retrogade benefic) in getting the propper guidance(9th), that you will need to become an excellent astrologer(lords 2nd and 5th). When the Guru comes, all doubts are removed. Similarly theres also a delay in getting children, and you may need todo so through alternative means. See the varga. Best wishes, Visti. Guest guest
Thanks visti. That makes sense. Looking back, at the amount of time that I ve spent learning astrology on my own and still not coming to get the grips of it. Though I am happy with the way my carreer is progressing, I feel that I should ve done these things atleast 3-5 yrs earlier...you see what I mean?. I often wondered about my jupiter...but it kind of makes sense. I guess better late than never.. thank you...
