Please tell me if this can be done. For example: C Fast on day ruled by lord of A10 to get job and worship the deity in second from A10 to maintain it. Fast on day ruled by lord of AL to get long life and worship the deity in second from AL to sustain it. Fast on day ruled by lord of A4 to get happiness and worship the deity in second from A4 to maintain it. Fast on day ruled by lord of A2 to get bank-balance and worship the deity in second from A2 to maintain it. Etc. Etc. Thanks. To bring the (1st) spouse, worship the deity lording the 7th from Venus. Vishnu rules our sustenance in this world, and hence 2nd house represents Vishnu. By worshipping the 2nd lord from Upapada, we are strengthening the Upapada. But the Upapada is not about recieving or enjoying blessings from spouse. Its about GIVING! Hence by worshipping the 2nd lord from Upapada, we are making the giving easier. Even if you do not wish to marry, fasting on days of the Upapada is very important. It enables us to give to others, and enables the mind to rest at night. With this, the soul may hopefully follow, and then... Regularly reading all ur replies,which inturns teaches me a lot.I got some doubts after reading ur recent reply about upapada.Pls clear them. To my little knowledge,i understood that Upapada indicates DARMA PATHNI(first wife) and its lord and planets in upapada indicates the nature of the Darma Pathni.Fasting on days of upapada will lead one to get his darma pathni.That is FASTING on days of upapada will make one to get marry soon.And for strengthening the longevity of the married life fasting on days of second from Upapada is good.This is what i understood about upapada. So it not only deals with spouse, but all kinds of expenditures and losses. Hence fasting on upapada is good for you in a general sense.
