Sun in Ketvamsa

In Upadesa Sutras Sanjay writes: If Sun is in the Navamsa sign occupied by

Ketu, conception is likely to occur. And then he elaborates by giving

different interpretations on Ketvamsa. I'm a little confused in this

regard. What is the best position of Sun in Navamsa at nisheka lagna? Sun

in the sign 'occupied' by Ketu, i.e. a conjunction of Sun-Ketu in Navamsa?

Or Sun in Scorpio, lorded by Ketu, or in Aries or Leo according to another

interpretation? Will conception only occur if these criteria are met and

otherwise not?

 

Furthermore, is there any astrological way to determine the time of

ovulation of the woman, the time the egg is able to be fructified?

Dear Dhira,

The Sun should attain Exaltation in Navamsa.

This can happen either by being placed in Aries-amsa, or by joining Ketu-amsa.

This can also happen when Suns-rasi is akin to Ketu's Navamsa. Zoran has done

some work on Bhrigu/varga-transits.
