Guest guest
First of all, I apologise for being a bit too rash. Secondly, accept it or not, you people should welcome new ideas and opinions. That was exactly what I was doing. Then this person named katti started irritating me with his famous question WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR STATEMENT. The mail I wrote previously was basically written to tell him that my mind is the source of every statement I write. For Mr. Dasgupta, I appreciate your concern but the problem is that I am utterly disappointed with people like you. No more comments! Mr. Prasad, I like your attitude and it is your reply who made me write a kind of apologetic message. Atleast there is someone here who has his own thoughts. With your logical explanation, now I agree that jupiter is the karaka for the longevity of a marriage. This is what I like - Logical explanations, though I am poor at it. Mr Visti, You disappoint me by saying IT (Vedic Astrology) MUST BE PERFECT. I thought Mr Katti is the only fundamentalist on this list. No hard feelings though! Anyways, I guess that people like Mr Prasad are rare and they must've had to waste their important time on my junk mails. I personally apologise to you Mr Prasad. I use the full sign as a whole house rule. I don't believe in navamshas, dasamshas, trimsahaha, shash, etc. The ways of prediction I use come from both Indian and western astrology. But I don't use the complex Indian astrology rules because I found them not to be of a great use. It might be shocking for some people to mix the rules too much and create a new kind of astrology but I've contacted some other astrologers on the internet and they too, like me have preferred to mix what works in both western and indian astrology. Besides, I've never experienced any problems with my predictions all my life. They are not 100% correct but they aren't wrong either. My obsession with saturn is because its the strongest planet in my horoscope (asc=gem, sat in libra(5th)). People always say that its a malefic, but I always liked to discuss its benefic effects. I think that if someone thinks that I don't belong to Indian astrology and I don't have any good SOURCES OF STATEMENT, then feel free not to reply to my messages. Its an open forum. Everyone should have a say. I thought that if western astrologers like sally can be on this list, then I can too. Overall, its such a disappointment to receive a good reply only from one person. I just started learning astrology two months ago. The basic rules have been taught to me by my teacher but he encourages me to discuss them with other people. I thought that this group will help me improve my knowledge. Mr dasgupta, I don't consider myself to be at a place to dictate astrology. I just want to learn. It might've hurt your delicate feelings about astrology(vedic) but I can't help you on that! No hard feelings again. I would definitely like some key figures to reply to this message especially Mr Prasad and some other people who come from a humble background. All others are invited too! Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Farrukh, A fundamental problem with the human mind is its fraility and weaknesses. This would be very amply clear if we just reflect on our own lives and examine the cause of every misfortune or wrong decision. Lord Krishna has spoken very clearly in the Srimad Gita that its easier to control the wind than to control the mind. The mind receives its information from imperfect senses and therefore can be the sitting place of ignorance. For example your eyesight might be better than mine and you would be able to see clearly in darkness but i may not be.So this disparity as well as the various distractions prevent us getting things right. So our mind should not be the ONLY source of information or learning. Moreover we as humans are plagued by weaknesses like anger and false-ego, which prevent our learning process. So we have to reflect and consider ourselves as absolutely ignorant and then we have a fair chance to learn. Its wise to remember that imagination always has its origin in knowledge. Our freedom in thinking is definitely very important but it should always be in bounds defined by concrete structured knowledge.Imagination without a proper bonafide source is merely speculation. Anyways these are my thoughts and Iam entitled to them. Any civil reply is welcome. Hare Krishna Sudharsan farrukhnauman wrote: First of all, I apologise for being a bit too rash. Guest guest
You are very humble. Atleast by writing those mails, I've attracted the replies of some humble people. Why don't people like you post messages so often? You must be an astrology genius. Why didn't you answer me before? I wrote in my previous mail that its only been 2 months for me in astrology. How can I be knowing something which the greats don't know? I just want to learn from people like you. Please help! Thanks for your time and attention! Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear farrukh, I am a beginner too and have been a part of this group for the last two months, so we are on the same boat.I would suggest that you go to the first post on this board in 1999 and start reading. I beleive that there is a treasure to be found.Good luck. Hare Krishna Sudharsan farrukhnauman wrote: You are very humble. Guest guest
hi farrukh u were not wrong ...its good that u like logic & accept only logical explainations . but still considering ur age & experience ,try to control ur anger. one can make others to accept his points by being polite. remember politeness is the first & foremost quality ,an astrologer ought to have prashant --- farrukhnauman <farrukhnauman wrote: > First of all, I apologise for being a bit too rash. > Secondly, accept > it or not, you people should welcome new ideas and > opinions.
