I have come across in several references that a planet placed in or ruling over

the 3rd, 5th, and 7th star from the natal star normally is not conducive to

good results during its dasa. And conversely, the ones posited in or ruling

over 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th star from the the natal star are

capable of bestwing good results. Now the question is: how come the other stars

which come in later sequence like 10th, 11th................. and 27th from the

janam nakshatra have no bearing on the planet's character, for after all we

have 27 stars and not just 9 in number.

 

Another small doubt: it is commonly understood that a malefic in upchaya house

gives good results in its dasa. What if the so called malefic (sun, for

instance specifically) is ruling an upchaya house (3rd house to be precise)

instead of being placed in it - it is rather placed in 2nd house. What to infer

from such placement?
