It is indeed a new news for me that Hindu scripts and mythological epics donot

restrict to be vegetarian. I personally think that all those people performing

some sort of mental or spritual task (like mentors, teachers, researchers,

priest, yoga practitioners etc) should not take any sort of meat at all. This

is sceintifically proved that contineous taking of red meat results in weak

mental performance apart from many physical diseases.

But what about, military personnels, guards, athletes and manual workers?
