Dear Nivedana:

 

I'm hoping you read this. What is this nonsense you're propagating

about "tasting the divine nectar directly from Swami so on so."

 

I've been writing on and off, I've taught at Universities and one of

the many things I've learned is NOT TO GENERALIZE. However, I'm going

to GENERALIZE when it comes to "brokers/agents of god."

 

Every person claiming to have a direct connection with god or to have

divine powers or to have a gift of divine knowlege from god is a BIG

TIME THUG.

 

God is a good god and he doesn't choose a "special person" to impart

his divinity on others (the UNenlightened ones).

 

I'm sick and tired of Swamis, Sadhus, Bapus, Devis, Satis, Matajis

and other derivatives of godmen and godwomen cropping up at every

street corner in India and some of them make their way to the West as

well.

 

I have to tell you about an incident that happened with me related to

a Mataji (she calls herself mataji). While I was living in San

Francisco, a friend of mine sang praises of a thug-woman who was

visiting from India and was insistent that I go along with him to

touch the feet of this thug-woman to attain enligtenment. I went with

my fried, but didn't tough feet of this lady. My friend was furious

that I didn't touch feet of this thug-woman and threatened me that

untimely death befalls the people who disrespect Mataji. Well, I'm

still alive and functioning.

 

Nivedana, if you really want to taste the divine nectar, join a group

like this and you'll have the benefit of many different realistic

interpretations and message of Bhagwad Geeta from real people who

have real intelligence and who have really read the Bhagwad Geeta

critically.

 

And Nivedana (or whatever your real name is), if you really want

to "taste the divine nectar of Bhagwad Geeta," go to Calcutta and

join Mother Terasa's ashram and care for the sick and the lepers.

And, if you want to taste even more nectar, go to Bombay and help

rescue young girls who are smuggled from Nepal and forced into

prostitution.

 

The nectar of Bhagwad Geeta is Karma. Lord Krishna never intended

for "Godmen/Godwomen" to adorne Orange robes, travel on private jets,

live in lavish ashram and sit before a microphone in an air-condition

OR heated hall and impart the knowlege/nectar of Bhagwad Geeta. I'm

sure Lord Krishna cries when he sees thugs like you and your godmen

make a mockery out of his message.

 

Well, now I got to do my own Karma and earn my salary.
