my kethu mahadasha started in January 1998, though it gave illness,

unknown fear, and anxiety too - it gave me insight to know about HIM, the

creator of the world and started learning jyotish too - it has made me a

refined man and more of my bad things washed away - i think by the end of

this dasha i will be a pure man.

my date of birth is 28.4.1955, time 04.00 at Hisar, Haryana, India

Lagna Pices and Venus is there

2nd house - sun & mercury

3rd house - mars

4th house - ketu, jupiter and moon

8th house - saturn

10 house - rahu

the period of keru - rahu was very bad and i was almost bedridden for one

thing or the other - illness

The other thing i am noticing is sexual competence. During the period of

ketu mahadasha and particularly in ketu - rahu ( i was also not interested

in sexual things) and going for pooja etc.

i request the revered Gurus to thoow light on my chart - i also request

that next dasha is Venus and venus is the 3rd and 8th lord and it is not

aspected by any planet malefic or benefic. -

- is the malavya yoga, gaj kesri yoga and budh aditya yoga will also help

me

- though my 9th lord is mars and it is aspecting 9th house - still i am a

devotee of Devi Durga

i am not able to understand when i go to a worship place, i always chant

devi mantras against the deity - whosoever it is

i request revered Gurus to kindly enlighten me.

Dear Karthikeya,

 

Sorry for the delay. You have not given the necessary basic info for your

birth data.......

 

But, as a rough estimate and taking my own chart, I am in Mars mahadasa,

which is my 12th lord. Mars is in the constellation of Sun, which is my 4th

lord. Rahu is in a constellation ruled by Ketu. During the Rahu period, the

selfless part of me rose above material gains and I actively promoted and

raised funds to extend the soup kitchen with a school and a class of 52

[almost single handedly] for the orphaned children, whose parents have died

of AIDS. According to Sanjayji, if natal Rahu is debilitated, so one will be

more spiritually aware. Being in the 8th and the natural significations of

occultism, these were intense months for me where the inner workings of

mysticism, mythology, philosophy especially was at its height.

In Navamsa, exalted Rahu is conjoined with Saturn, saved by the divine

presence of Jupiter in the 5th and events related to such were certainly

highlighted. On the flip side, exalted Rahu with Jupiter [Ketu's star] also

has a say to my 2nd house and 10th house significations, where work was

concerned. Being in sampat tara and is 11th from AL, it gave gains where my

profession was concerned. Jupiter being natural Putra karaka with A5 and

A11, gave recognition to my children's academic achievements, while Jupiter

with UL and A6 indicated concerns in financial situation where spouse was

concerned. In Aquarius Dasama with Rahu in it, during the Narayan Dasa of

D-10, Taurus is in operation with Rahu's transit through it. Being 6th from

AL, and saved with Venus in its own sign with Sun would still give mixed

results. Sudasa of Cancer in the sub of Virgo has Rahu in own sign with A4

being 8th and 4th from them. In that sense, with Rahu in 8th from main,

giving fear is not accentuated.

 

If you are looking for more answers in your marital life, perhaps the ND or

D-9 will help, as well as UL and 7th from Venus etc. If looking at material

gains, then look at Rahu's grahas, constellations, strength and work on

timings from Sudasa of D-10 for more precision where profession is

concerned.

I think that's how we should integrate everything and them read accordingly.

[Coming from someone who was transfixed in a particular system and trying to

shake it off and see it in Sanjayji and Narasimhaji's "lights"]

 

Try and delve deeper into the basics with the following books written by

Narasimhaji "Vedic Astrology; An Integrated Approach" and Sanjayji's book

"The Crux of VA; Timing of Events".

In Sanjayji's book, he says the following: "The aspect of planets is

considered from the star where they are stationed". You will be able to get

the entire list from Narasimhaji's book. Personally, one should begin from

Narasimha's methodical book and proceed with the rest after that.
